Chibi Style Lemell Refugee Fan Art - Splinterlands Art Contest Week 285
Greetings!
Welcome to another edition of my Splinterlands fan art. This blog contains the process of how I created a Chibi-style Lemell Refugee. This will be my second fan art for Splinterlands and my second entry to Splinterlands Art Contest. I created a Chibi-style Lemell Refugee because I find Chibis cute.
Of course, my reference and inspiration for creating a Lemell Refugee Chibi fan art is the card "Lemell Refugee".
Chibi process
My style in creating digital art (chibi) is first outlining the pose of the art that I want to create.
After finalizing the outline I start in coloring. As of now, my style of coloring is using the "bucket" tool and the pen/brush tool. As you can see on the two images below I first colored the hair and then I followed it up by coloring the costume.
After I colored the costume I colored the eyes. After the eyes, I started to put some shades on the costume.
After I finished shading I made some final adjustments and it is done.
Sofware used: ibisPaint X (free version)
Mobile device used: Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (with S-pen)
That is all for now guys, catch you up with the next one. Wishing you all safety, good health, and abundance.
I am a Computer Engineer, blogger, farmer, gardener, father, and husband. I love countryside living, nature, and farming (rice/vegetables), and I have two decades of experience as an I.T. professional
