Where is the marketing to 9 to 5'ers so that we have lots of new people coming in to the game that will buy up these cards? Where is the bumper stickers, cell phone stickers, car wraps, popsockets, etc.?
Give me a car wrap with nice graphics and my QR referral code that can be scanned by the passenger in the car behind me or the person on the sidewalk when I pull up to a light. I do DoorDash full time so I drive all over the place in a 2022, it will get seen a lot.
If you are not going to do anything like that then let us do it. Give us the vector art or make a page where we can input some parameters and it spits out a bumper sticker or whatever, partner with wrapify... do something.
Give us vectors so we can carve it into a phone case or I can make a coffee mug with it with my cricut machine and my mug press. I can't find Splinterlands vectors anywhere. How about a heat activated coffee mug that has a card on it and when it gets hot it gets enraged stats? It's halloween for goodness sakes and you have what? Nothing for us to make.
Why do I have to jump through hoops trying to vectorize a splinterlands card bitmap and then it comes out crappy so I don't even try anymore so I can't make anything with it.
You could work with a talented laser cutter and come up with some standard splinterlands laser projects and license them out for low fees with glowforge.
How many hundreds of millions of blue collar workers are out there? 15 million packs is nothing compared to them.
sps man its the thing you want now when its cheap before ppl realize what its going to do and runis may play a huge part in a proejct i hope i can get through everyone wil love it
Land to if you can get some do it not financial advice just when every team member basically says it will do somthing important i buy same with runis i guess im a go with my gut person but serves me well not the style for all
im going to do things with the runis like shirts and other shit that has a mining function that gives you x sps a day for having it or some other reward like a random card. And to pay for it you needto stake x amount in vlaue of hive or other token we accept to curate for a negotiated amount of time and if the price changes you will eihther be given back some or need to contirbute some or its taken out of the rewards.
I agree your general concept is right, but I also think they won't do it because they know the new user and small user experience needs a lot of work. They don't want to spend a ton of money on marketing if the people that join won't stick around. So my comment would be that you are absolutely correct that we could market to the masses and solve this problem, BUT I think they are just now waking up to the issues that those players would face. Its better late than never though, and I'm hopeful now they have figured it out then they will develop a much better experience.
