Hola gente, esta semana quiero participar en el concurso de @Splinterlands con esta carta de Naga Assassin, ya que llevaba mucho tiempo queriéndola hacer pero habían algunas cosas que me hacia ver este dibujo bastante complicado sin embargo, ayer me sentí de humor para intentarlo, hice el boceto desde ayer por la tarde y en la noche comencé a pintar, termine recientemente y puedo decirles que efectivamente fue demasiado difícil, intente apegarme mucho al diseño original pero a mi estilo, lo único que cambie fue ese cinturón que lleva en la cintura porque realmente no me gustaba tanto, asi que lo borre del boceto, quise hacer todo bastante colorido, espero que les guste.

Hello people, this week I want to participate in the @Splinterlands contest with this Naga Assassin card, I had been wanting to do it for a long time but there were some things that made me see this drawing quite complicated, however, yesterday I felt in the mood to try it, I made the sketch since yesterday afternoon and at night I started to paint, I finished recently and I can tell you that it was indeed too difficult, I tried to stick very much to the original design but to my style, the only thing I changed was that belt on the waist because I really didn't like it so much, so I erased it from the sketch, I wanted to make everything quite colorful, I hope you like it.

Proceso/Process

Hice el boceto donde quise realizar a mi personaje posando de una manera sencilla, me costo mucho hacer la cola, creo que me enredé un poco al hacerla, elegí los colores con los que iba a trabajar, los cuales eran tonos cálidos bastante fuertes y saturados, aplique mas tonos en una nueva capa para darle mejor forma a la piel, para el cabello use un tono gris de base, luego empecé a detallar aún más la piel dándole el acabado final que simulara suavidad, agregue mas tonos al cabello dándole sombras y luces para crear movimiento y también coloque un tono crema de base para la cola.

I made the sketch where I wanted to make my character posing in a simple way, I had a hard time making the tail, I think I got a little tangled when doing it, I chose the colors I was going to work with, which were quite strong and saturated warm tones, I applied more tones in a new layer to give better shape to the skin, for the hair I used a grey base tone, then I started to detail even more the skin giving it the final finish to simulate softness, I added more tones to the hair giving it shadows and lights to create movement and I also put a cream base tone for the tail.

Pinté el cuchillo y la parte superior de la ropa, sustrayendo el color de la carta original y haciéndolo un poco menos saturado, luego empecé a pintar los detalles de la cola, esto creo que fue lo que mas tiempo me llevó, fue muy difícil conseguir el resultado que imaginaba y aunque no quedo exactamente como pensé, creo que se ve bien. Quise añadir un fondo brillante donde empecé a añadir una luz roja que alumbra el centro.

I painted the knife and the upper part of the clothes, subtracting the color from the original card and making it a little less saturated, then I started to paint the details of the tail, this I think was the most time consuming, it was very difficult to get the result I imagined and although it didn't look exactly as I thought, I think it looks good. I wanted to add a bright background where I started to add a red light that illuminates the center.

Luego añadí mas detalles de luz y se me ocurrió añadir una textura de movimiento en los bordes del dibujo, después pase la imagen por un proceso de edición leve ajustando un poco la saturación del dibujo, hace poco antes de subir este post, me di cuenta que olvide un detalle importante el cual había colocado en el boceto y era estas espinas que salen de la cola, asi que ahorita edite la imagen y dibuje estas espinas jajaja.

Then I added more light details and it occurred to me to add a texture of movement on the edges of the drawing, then I passed the image through a slight editing process adjusting a little saturation of the drawing, just before uploading this post, I realized that I forgot an important detail which I had placed in the sketch and it was these thorns coming out of the tail, so now I edited the image and drew these thorns hahaha.
