Splinterlands art contest | Prunda Undervesch

Buenas noches amigos, el día de hoy para mi entrada de @Splinterlands decidí dibujar a Prunda Undervesch en versión de retrato, este dibujo paso por muchos cambios ya que al principio haría el cabello muy parecido al diseño que tiene en la imagen original, sin embargo siendo sincera no pude lograr un buen resultado, asi que opte por un cabello mas simple, convertí su cetro en una hermosa flor flotando en el agua que ilumina parte del rostro, intente darle un estilo dark pero manteniendo un rostro inocente y tranquilo, algunas líneas quedaron muy rusticas pero igualmente me gusto el resultado.

Good evening friends, today for my @Splinterlands entry I decided to draw Prunda Undervesch in portrait version, this drawing went through many changes because at first I would make the hair very similar to the design that has in the original image, however being honest I could not achieve a good result, so I opted for a simpler hair, I turned her scepter into a beautiful flower floating in the water that illuminates part of the face, try to give a dark style but keeping an innocent and calm face, some lines were very rustic but I still like the result.

Proceso/Process

Realice el boceto que como pueden ver tiene este cabello que intente que fuese parecido a la carta original dibuje todo el rostro y los detalles para luego empezar a pintar, elegí tonos azules claros y oscuros para toda la piel y comencé a pintar, en una nueva capa añadí mas colores para terminar de formar todo el rostro y empezar a mezclar, con un pincel duro y una opacidad de 60% empecé a mezclar todos los colores dejando una textura suave a la piel, detalle muy bien los ojos haciéndolos grandes, verdes y luminosos, pinte el fondo con diferentes azules un poco mas saturados, haciendo la parte superior mas clara y la inferior mas oscura.

I made the sketch that as you can see has this hair that I tried to make it similar to the original card, I drew the whole face and the details and then I started to paint, I chose light and dark blue tones for all the skin and I started to paint, in a new layer I added more colors to finish forming the whole face and start to mix, with a hard brush and an opacity of 60% I started to mix all the colors leaving a soft texture to the skin, detail very well the eyes making them big, green and luminous, I painted the background with different blues a little more saturated, making the upper part lighter and the lower part darker.

Pinte detalles en la piel, estas marcas que tiene en la frente y pómulos, además de añadir puntos de luz muy claros que dieran ese efecto de “escamas” quise cambiar el color de los labios a un tono casi negro, me pareció interesante ya que casi siempre mis dibujos los hago con labios rosas, intente pintar el cabello y realmente fallé muchas veces me quedaba muy feo asi que opte por un peinado mas sencillo pero utilizando los colores que tiene en el cabello la carta original, una gama de rosas y azules opacos. Pinte la gema verde y luego la flor flotando sobre el mar, añadí una capa de luz e ilumine la flor y algunas zonas del rostro, finalice mi dibujo editando la imagen, realice un ajuste de color y saturación.

I painted details in the skin, these marks that she has on the forehead and cheekbones, besides adding very clear points of light that gave that effect of "scales" I wanted to change the color of the lips to an almost black tone, I found it interesting since I almost always do my drawings with pink lips, I tried to paint the hair and I really failed many times it was very ugly so I opted for a simpler hairstyle but using the colors that the original card has in the hair, a range of pinks and opaque blues.
I painted the green gem and then the flower floating on the sea, I added a layer of light and illuminated the flower and some areas of the face, I finished my drawing by editing the image, I made a color and saturation adjustment.
