This is my contribution for the Splinterlands Art Contest! // Week 182. I'm still learning to draw and little by little and I hope to improve over time. This time I was inspired by AGANJU an legendary card from the Fire Splinter. They call him the volcano keeper and is also known as Guardian of the Deeprealms and Protector of the Gate.

The first thing is to make the sketch, which unfortunately at the moment I have to do it with the mouse which makes it a bit difficult for me, the ideal would be to have a graphics tablet. After the sketch I start to work on the shadows, starting with the general shadows and then with the more specific shadows. The next step is similar but with the Lights. I like to do the shadows and lights first because it's easier for me to give volume to the drawing. After the highlights and shadows are done, we can start coloring the drawing. It is best to do it in layers and have a layer for each part of the body.

The last thing was to work on the background, To do this,I opt for a gradient with yellow tones to simulate daylight. An area in blue for the sky and a tree to add a bit of detail to the background. I hope you like the result and as always I read you in the comments.
