Lately it's been hard for me to post because I've had a pretty hectic life dynamic, but I can't stay away from the hive, anyway I have to stop by, make the time and share. Yesterday was a very special day for me because I celebrated one year in Hive and without a doubt it has been an incredible experience.
I recently got to know Splinterlands its cards and its incredible characters and stories and I was fascinated, another new world to explore. This time I bring you a Fan Art of one of the cards I loved. This is RUSH TOWNSEND. This character is very attractive and with a wonderful aesthetic, but also has a fascinating story.
RUSH TOWNSEND is a hard-core revolutionary with a good heart. He dedicates his life to serving the underprivileged and defending them from injustice. We certainly need many RUSH TOWNSENDs in this world. The technique I used to present this letter to you was toon drawing.
I grew up watching Cartoon Network and the toon aesthetic is part of my creative foundation. Maybe that's why drawing toon cartoons is so easy for me. To make this drawing I only need a white sheet of paper, a pencil and a marker.
Drawing toon cartoons is easy, I like to do a pencil sketch to start with and then play it safer with the marker. The inking is one of the most important parts of the cartoon. It's not just about highlighting the pencil, inking is the life of the drawing. You have to identify where the relevant shadows go, the ones that give length to the drawing.
It is preferable to use several types of markers, to make different lines, this gives a lot of aesthetics to the shadows. Unfortunately I only have at the moment a thick tip marker, these days I will have to go to the store and buy some markers.

Últimamente me ha costado publicar porque he tenido una dinámica de vida bastante agitada, pero no puedo alejarme de la colmena, como sea tengo que pasar por acá, hacer el tiempo y compartir. Ayer fue un día muy especial para mí porque cumplí un año en Hive y sin duda ha sido una increíble experiencia.
Hace poco conocí Splinterlands sus cartas y sus increíbles personajes e historias y quede fascinada, otro mundo nuevo para explorar. Esta vez les traje un Fan Art de una de las cartas que me encantaron. Se trata de RUSH TOWNSEND. Este personaje es muy atractivo y con una estética maravillosa, pero además tiene una historia fascinante.
RUSH TOWNSEND es un revolucionario empedernido y de bien corazón. Dedica su vida a servir a los desprotegidos y a defenderles de las injusticias. Sin duda necesitamos muchos RUSH TOWNSEND en este mundo. La técnica que use para presentarles esta carta fue dibujo toon.
Crecí viendo Cartoon Network y la estética toon forma parte de mis bases creativas. Quizás por eso dibujar caricaturas toon se me hace tan sencillo. Para realizar este dibujo tan solo necesite una hoja blanca, un lápiz y un marcador.
Dibujar caricaturas toon es sencillo, me gusta hacer un boceto en lápiz para empezar y luego ir más a la segura con el marcador. El entintado es una de las partes más importantes de la caricatura. No se trata de remarcar el lápiz, el entintado es la vida del dibujo. Tienes que ir identificando donde van las sombres relevantes, las que le dan longitud al dibujo.
Es preferible usar varios tipos de marcador, para realizar líneas diferentes, esto le da mucha estética a las sombras. Por desgracia solo tengo en este momento un marcador punta gruesa, estos días tendré que ir a la tienda y comprar algunos marcadores.
