POBphotocontest: Nature - Feathered Friends

Hello everyone, here is my entry to the POBphotocontest for the week with the theme: NATURE.

Honestly, within and around our immediate environment, nature and all there is are about. From flowers to animals, and even weather we see the stamp of nature everywhere.

For me, I approach this topic from the standpoint of showing some pictures of animals, more particularly the feathered friends... pigeons.

I ran into these beauties on my way home yesterday. They were busy searching for food along the path.

I usually see them along this path, always searching for food and with little disturbance from passers-by.

But when they saw me approaching them, they started making frantic moves to clear the path. They increased their steps in readiness to take to flight.

I managed to capture them together, the two I had seen anyway. Later I captured them one after the other and as I wanted to take more shots, they flew away.
