¡Saludos comunidad!

Greetings community! This week's challenge is about a battle condition that I particularly like to combine with skills like "Void Armor", and a mix of melee and ranged damage or just magic damage. Depending on whether the other battle condition(s) are: "Weak Magic", "Thorns" or "Fire & Regret". In games with different mana limits. This week's battle condition is "Armored Up" which combined with the right strategy can give us the advantage in our battles.

Armored Up is a battle condition that gives our compositions 2 additional points of armor. This buff provides an obvious advantage against "Melee" and "Ranged" attacks. I usually use monsters with abilities like "Repair", "Void Armor", "Shatter" and "Resurrect" in my strategies with this battle condition. In addition, I also like to use summoners like "Grandmaster Rathe" and "Immortalis", as they allow me to take much more advantage of this battle condition in my games.

Let's move on to the battle! In addition to the "Armored Up" battle condition, the "Fire & Regret" condition was present. Available were the Splinters: "Water", "Earth", "Life", "Death" and "Dragon". So given the conditions, I decided to use the Earth Splinter, as it has a summoner that provides the "Void" and "Shatter" abilities which increases the advantage in battle. In addition, the Earth Splinter also has monsters with good magic damage, support and debuff abilities. It should be noted that the Life Splinter also has a summoner with a great potential which is "Grandmaster Rathe", and monsters with good attributes and support skills but in contrast to the "Void" and "Shatter" skills offered by the "Immortalis" summoner, the Life Splinter did not seem to me the most suitable option.

I used Immortalis as a summoner because the "Shatter" and "Void" abilities it grants provide a great advantage in battle. In addition to the debuff of -1 a point of life to the enemy. In the first position I used Legionnaire Alvar, as he has good characteristics to act as a tank, and his ability "Void Armor" allows to take advantage of the battle condition "Armored Up". In the second position I used Oaken Behemoth in order to contribute to the damage from the second line, and protect the rest of the composition in case the tank dies. It should be noted that this monster fulfills a similar function to Legionnaire Alvar, since it also has the "Void Armor" ability. In the third position I used Goblin Psychic in order to support the tank with its "Heal" ability, take advantage in battle with its "Affliction" ability, and contribute to the damage from the second line. In the fourth position I used Spirit Druid Grog for the purpose of supporting the composition with his "Resurrect" ability, taking advantage in battle with his "Life leech" ability, and contributing to the damage from the second line. In the fifth position I used Suidae Shaman with the purpose of taking advantage in the battle with his "Recharge" ability, and also to protect the rest of the composition from the enemy's "Sneak" attacks. Finally, I used Doctor Blight to take advantage in the battle with his "Affliction", "Poison" and "Camouflage" abilities, and to contribute to the damage from the second line. As you could see, the key to my strategy is the use of the "Shatter" ability to neutralize the enemy shield, and take full advantage of the attacks of my composition. In addition, I give extra protection to my composition by using the "Void" skill. Also the "Resurrect" skill allows us to take advantage of the usefulness of the shield when reviving a monster, since it does it with 1 point of life but with all the amount of shield it had, which gives us enough time to continue taking the lead in the battle.

On turn 3 of round 5, Spirit Druid Grog defeated Adelade Brightwing. The enemy had only 2 monsters, and my composition had 5. On turn 5 of round 5, Oaken Behemoth defeated Venari Crystalsmith, the enemy had only 1 monster, the course of the battle was more than defined. Finally, on turn 3 of round 6, Oaken Behemoth defeated Djinn Renova, ending the battle with a great victory. The strategy worked perfectly. What made the difference between the strategies? Well, although the enemy's strategy was very good, he actually used several support skills like: "Heal", "Resurrect", "Strengthen" and "Void Armor" and even debuffs like "Slow" that gave him the advantage regarding speed in the battle. The "Shatter", "Void", "Affliction" and "Poison" abilities of my strategy were more decisive in the outcome of the battle, giving me more advantage and allowing me to take more advantage of the potential of my composition. All this can be seen in the following images.
