¡Saludos comunidad! El reto de esta semana es sobre una carta que en lo particular uso más en partidas de bajo maná, ya que por sus estadísticas, la considero muy útil para esas condiciones. El Regal Peryton, es un monstruo del Splinter de Tierra, es del tipo raro, y pertenece a la edición de Chaos Legion.

Greetings community! This week's challenge is about a card that in particular I use more in low mana games, since I consider it very useful for those conditions due to its stats. The Regal Peryton is an Earth Splinter monster, it is a rare type, and belongs to the Chaos Legion edition.

Como pueden observar en la imagen anterior, el Regal Peryton sólo posee la habilidad “Flying” en sus diferentes niveles. Y a partir del nivel 3, adquiere un punto más de daño mágico. En lo particular, como juego en la liga de Plata, usar esta carta a un nivel 3 puede ir bien, ya que en contraste con su nivel 4, sólo se diferencian en un punto de vida. Si tu presupuesto es ajustado, usar esta carta incluso en su nivel 2 para la liga de Plata puede ir bien, personalmente la uso a nivel 2 debido a que en ocasiones los costos de los alquileres son altos en sus niveles 3 y 4, y como es una carta que uso por lo general en partidas de bajo maná, a ese nivel me funciona bien.

As you can see in the image above, the Regal Peryton only has the ability "Flying" in its different levels. And from level 3, it acquires one more point of magic damage. In particular, as I play in the Silver league, using this card at level 3 can go well, since in contrast to its level 4, they only differ in one point of life. If your budget is tight, using this card even at its level 2 for the Silver league can go well, personally I use it at level 2 because sometimes the rental costs are high at its levels 3 and 4, and as it is a card that I usually use in low mana games, at that level it works well for me.

En la imagen anterior pueden observar el costo de cada BCX para esta carta, el cual es de 0.35 $. Por lo que si quieres esta carta a un nivel 3 por ejemplo, necesitas 14 BCX de la misma, lo que sería un total de: 4.9 $. Y para un nivel 4 tendría un costo de: 8.75 $. ¿Pagar casi el doble por un punto más de vida? Queda a criterio de cada uno. (Tener en cuenta que estos son los precios al momento de realizar el Post, y los mismos pudieran variar)

In the image above you can see the cost of each BCX for this card, which is 0.35 $. So if you want this card at level 3 for example, you need 14 BCX of it, which would be a total of: 4.9 $. Hablemos un poco de los alquileres, como pueden observar en la imagen anterior para el momento de realizar este post, el costo de alquiler para esta carta a su nivel 3 y 4 no varía mucho, menos de 4 DEC de diferencia. En los recuadros rojos pueden ver que el costo de alquiler para esta carta a nivel 3 es de 78.20 DEC/DAY, y para nivel 4 es de 74.87 DEC/DAY, de hecho, es un poco más económica a un nivel superior. Es frecuente ver este tipo de escenarios debido a la volatilidad de los alquileres.

Let's talk a little about the rentals, as you can see in the image above at the time of this post, the rental cost for this card at its level 3 and 4 does not vary much, less than 4 DEC difference. ¡Pasemos a la batalla! Como mencioné anteriormente, suelo usar esta carta en partidas de bajo maná, ya que me parece apropiada en esas condiciones. En la siguiente imagen pueden observar las condiciones de la batalla.

Let's move on to battle! As I mentioned before, I usually use this card in low mana games, as I find it appropriate in those conditions. In the following image you can see the battle conditions.

Por lo general, en estas condiciones de batalla suelo usar el Splinter de Tierra, y en vista de la presencia del ruleset “Earthquake”, el Regal Peryton es una carta ideal para esta batalla. Además, usé como invocador a “Obsidian” para potenciar el daño mágico. Como tanque usé a “Failed Summoner” para retornar parte del posible daño mágico ofensivo, y hacer tiempo para que Regal Peryton ataque, y no reciba daño. Y en la tercera posición usé a “Mycelic Morphoid” para proteger al “Regal Peryton” de un posible ataque sneak, y además hacer daño gracias a su habilidad “Thorns”.

Usually, in these battle conditions I usually use the Earth Splinter, and in view of the presence of the "Earthquake" ruleset, the Regal Peryton is an ideal card for this battle. In addition, I used "Obsidian" as a summoner to boost magic damage. As a tank I used "Failed Summoner" to return some of the possible offensive magic damage, and make time for Regal Peryton to attack, and not take damage. And in the third position I used "Mycelic Morphoid" to protect "Regal Peryton" from a possible sneak attack, and also do damage thanks to his "Thorns" ability.

Efectivamente, como pueden ver en la imagen anterior para el tercer turno de la primera ronda, ya mi Regal Peryton había eliminado el tanque enemigo, y además de eso, mi Failed Summoner retornó el daño mágico de la segunda línea ofensiva.

Indeed, as you can see in the image above by the third turn of the first round, my Regal Peryton had already eliminated the enemy tank, and on top of that, my Failed Summoner returned the magic damage of the second offensive line.

Para el tercer turno de la segunda ronda, ya el Earthquake se había encargado de eliminar a los monstruos sin la habilidad Flying. Quedando sólo los Regal Peryton cara a cara para definir la batalla, cabe destacar que ambos tenían la misma vida ya que el enemigo contaba con el Spirit Hoarder el cual tiene la habilidad de Triage. Aun así, hubo un detalle clave que me llevó a la victoría, y es que coloqué a el Regal Peryton en la segunda posición, y el oponente en la tercera por lo que me tocó atacar primero, y eso fue lo decisivo en la cuarta ronda. By the third turn of the second round, the Earthquake had already eliminated the monsters without the Flying ability. Only the Regal Perytons remained face to face to define the battle, it should be noted that both had the same life because the enemy had the Spirit Hoarder which has the Triage ability. Even so, there was a key detail that led me to victory, and that is that I placed the Regal Peryton in the second position, and the opponent in the third, so it was my turn to attack first, and that was the decisive factor in the fourth round.
