# Splinter Stats Season 68 Report Card

Here's a very neat tool I found on https://kiokizz.github.io/Splinterlands/seasonReportCard.html; it allows you to track your winnings and earnings throughout the season. I think I'll just post snippets of this to track my earnings and progression through this game. Although it is Season 68 in Splinterlands, it is only Season 12 for me because I started playing in September 2021.

I ended in Gold for the first time! I was lucky enough to rent 70K+ power and none of the card owners cancelled at the end of the season so I was able to claim 22 loots chest for the first time. I had a win rate of 56%, which is pretty good. It was probably higher but towards the end of the season when owners start cancelling rentals and cards become expensive is when I lose access to good cards and start losing. No complaints though, 56% is pretty good.

I joined my first tournament ever for fun. It cost 1 DEC and I won 75 DEC so I would think that's pretty good. Looking to become a more competitive player when my deck gets stronger so I was just dipping my toes into the water a little bit at a time.

The total ranked play earnings is 2103 DEC ($7.06) and 4795 credits ($4.795), bringing my total revenue for this season up to $11.855, almost $12. Of course this is just a rough estimate; I fully expect the cards to appreciate in value as the years go by. I'm just interested to see how much DEC I made playing battles during the season. I would've expected the number to be higher actually but I guess I only broke into Gold towards the end of the season so the earnings were not as lucrative.

I'm a full believer of renting what you can afford. So many times I go against people who spend 400, 500, even 2000 DEC a day renting but only have like $0.10 worth of cards and I think to myself; what a horrible investor. Imagine spending more DEC per day renting than what you actually earn from playing ranked battles. Glad to report that I spent 1321.092 DEC renting this season ($4.43 at today's price) so I still make about $7.425 from my ranked battles. Remember; rent smart. Don't just spend a ton of money renting the top cards like Kitty/Yodin/Llama-Kron. That is not financially wise.

The real kicker! 28.309 SPS is only worth $3.67 today but I am in this game for the long term, I believe that it will be worth a lot more in the future.
Overall adding up DEC and SPS gains brings my total profit for this season to $11.095. If there are two seasons in a month that doubles my earnings to about $20 + end of season loot chests. It might not seem like much but I fully believe in the Splinterlands team and the game in the long-term. I will hold my assets and watch them grow to a substantial amount.
