After a being away for quite a long time, I'm finally back with another entry for Splinterlands' Weekly Battle Challenge! Are you excited to take on this just as I am?

This week's challenge is to win using the fearless Tenyii Striker! Don't miss out on this. If this is your first time to hear about this challenge, check out Splinterlands' blog post here!

Tenyii Striker's Lore
A dozen generations sandwiched between the hammer of the Khans' cruelty and the anvil of the icy foothills of Kurguzd forged the Tenyii into reclusive deadly foes. Brought to the training creche from birth, taught to steal for food, beaten when caught and trained daily with the sword and spear as soon as they were strong enough for their hands to lift steel, the Tenyii clan were hard as iron and as fierce and silent as midnight on the mountain glacier.

When the Legion's heralds demanded a sacrifice of flesh and gold to open the rifts to the ways beyond, the Khan sent five hundred waadin berserkers to bring the tribe to heel. When a single horse returned bearing a sack of fifty skulls, the Khan threatened to burn the entire mountain to the ground. A dozen Tenyii Strikers were sent as tribute to spare the tribes and to satisfy the herald's call.

The Tenyii clan values honor and they're not afraid to cut through a larger enemy to protect it. Tenyii Striker is one of my favorite Fire splinter cards to play with. He can deal 2 melee damage and has a decent speed. On top of that, he has a nice chunk of health too!

For $0.48 (706 DEC), you can buy a 1 BCX Tenyii Striker from the marketplace!

This week's battle replay is a match between Life and Fire. Here is the replay link for the whole match.

Mana Cap: 26
Standard: No modifications!
Splinters Available: All Splinters

It's annoying is to deal with an undying tank because there's a healer at the back line! Since I was on a Fire focus, I thought that 26 mana is something I can comfortably work with.

6th Uraeus 3 Level 1

Living Lava wasn't available for me so I picked Tusk the Wide instead. I chose Tusk since even if he didn't have shields, he has Void to nullify some incoming magic damage. I have been dealing with numerous Venari Crystalsmiths so I decided that taking their team from the back can get me to one, in case there was another to face.

"Another day, another Crystalsmith." I shrugged then shook my head as I saw that apart from the Crystalsmith, there's a Djinn Renova on the enemy team. Maybe I should have rented Life splinter cards too, but here we were with a Fire focus so let's just roll with it!

Match Breakdown

image.png

Round 1:

Mother Khala plus Djinn Renova made things a little harder for my team. Both of them gives +1 Health each, making them more tankier than usual. The Slow debuff made my Grenadier miss its shot. My Uraeus damaged the Stitch Leech and our star, the Tenyii Striker knocked it out from the game.

Round 2:
Tusk has held the frontline well. The Pelacor Conjurer has survived this round thanks to the Crystalsmith's support. The enemy Uraeus went down this round, thanks to the collective effort of my Uraeus, Tenyii Striker and Battering Ram. As there are no more sneak cards left on the enemy's table, my backline's safe from any assault.

Round 3:
Their Time Mage has been dealing zero damage to Tusk ever since the battle started and the same thing applies to my Grenadier. He's been missing a lot.

In this round, Tusk and Battering Ram finally took their Pelacor Conjurer out. The Crystalsmith has also taken damage from Uraeus and the Striker.

Round 4:
At this point, we all probably know where this is going. It was just not that quick, though! The Lava Spider missed its hit on the Time Mage and the Crystalsmith was still able to heal Djinn Renova right before she was eliminated by the Tenyii Striker.

By the end of Round 4, Djinn Renova was holding on to 1 Health and the Time Mage, unscathed.

Round 5: Victory!

The Grenadier finally landed its killing blow on the Djinn Renova and the Time Mage had no where to go. Uraeus missed here but Tusk and Tenyii Striker cleaned it up.

Another victory into our hands!

Final Notes:

Tenyii Striker is a must have for your Fire deck and together with other sneak and opportunity cards, heads will roll at the back. But don't rely on him too much - things could go wrong if there's an enemy with Shield, Taunt, and Thorns.

Reached this part? Thanks for hanging out 'ere! See you next week (hopefully) for another Weekly Battle Challenge!

Nice unit review. I like the Tenyii Striker, but I think he gets much stronger at higher levels when he gets the DODGE ability. Turns him into a pseudo backup tank if needed.
