Happiness is the key to Success. My Introduction Post.
Greetings everyone! My name is Dmitry, I am 34 years old and I am excited to write my first Hive blog post. I am currently working as a system administrator in St. Petersburg, the city where I was born and which I love very much.
St. Petersburg is a very beautiful city, it has many palaces, museums, theaters, cathedrals and churches, and I always enjoyed walking the streets of my city.
My main hobby since childhood is reading, I also like computer games and anime. I practiced aikido, but unfortunately stopped (due to lack of time). Too bad, I really enjoyed it, and even passed a few rank exams.
Like so many people, I have long been interested in the world of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. More than a year ago i stumbled upon Steem, and a little later - upon @splinterlands, one of the "play-to-earn" games that use blockchain technology to allow players to earn cryptocurrency and enjoy the game at the same time. This game caught my attention with its unique gameplay mechanics and graphics. If you are not familiar with it, Splinterlands is a card game where you build decks of monsters and spells and battle other players for rewards or just for fun. Here's the link, and there is a whole community of players and developers working together to improve the game and make it more accessible for us.

At the time, unfortunately, I didn't pay much attention to Hive, but better late than never - and here I am, finally starting my own blog. I would be happy to talk about a lot of interesting topics with other members of the Hive community, learn about your experiences and share my thoughts. Looking forward to our future together!
