I'll be honest, this is not my favorite card, but let's look into it.

Shadow Snitch

Overview

Word the low price of 4 Mana we will receive a creature with 2 strong assets: 5 Health and Reach, and 2 weak assets: 1 speed and 1 melee attack.
For me the biggest issue with this card it it's 1 melee attack. The most teams I encountered in lower levels hat tanks with high health, shield or torn. So this card had almost no chance to make a real difference in the fight with its low attack and speed stats. For me this card gets interested at level 4, when the melee attack increases to 2, on level 6 with affection (denying the healing from Goblin Psychic) and then at level 10 with evade. I would say that on level 10 this creature looks promising for the low mana, but I'm far from trying that out.

I will leave out the sections about usage, as this card is usually not in my deck. Let's look at the fight instead.

Ruleset:

  • 40 Mana
  • Fire, Earth, Life, Death and Dragon allowed
  • Silenced Summoners and Little League rulesets

I must admit, that I could have won this battle only because I already read a few posts created for this challenge, where the shadow snitch was highlighted due to his high health.

Death Splinter is a great choice for the little league ruleset because of

  • Riftwing - It has great speed, flies and even receives health from his scavenger ability. With a bit of luck it is a great blocker in the first or second row.
  • Life Sapper and Venari Bonesmith are both cards with the Life Leech skill, which gives them health every time they hit an enemy. If Riftwing can keep the enemy at bay for 1-2 round, while these two are buffing up, then the damage dealt by the enemy won't be enough to win the game.

Uraeus in the back did a great job as well. Often in little leagues the card in the back is strong ranged damage dealer. The stealth ability neutralized this threat. Both threats.

In this fight I'm unsure now, if it was a good idea to put up Elven Mystic on the 3rd position. I should have gone with Death Elemental (to do snipe damage) or Dark Astronomer as well (as it has higher damage + health). Will see what happens the next time I will be in a similar situation.

Shadow snitch was doing a great job and I was positively surprised by his endurance.
