I prefer to have 2 snipers as well, but I don't think I could have killed the Mech Warrior in time and won in that scenario.
My snipers would have focused on the Creeping Ooze and as I had only 3 mana to spare I would have to choose the Death Elemental with only 1 magic damage instead of the Haunted Spider with the 2 ranged damage.
I preferred the higher damage, with paid off in the end.

Fair play, you won, that's the important thing.

I haven't played for a while (I rent now) but I do remember with equalizer (my most successful rule set btw) I always just pounded the front guy. If you split your attacks and they play triage and repair (which I ALWAYS played with this ruleset) you're screwed!

Then again I am thinking Diamond league levels here where there are more buffs!
