My Splinterlands Journey
I don't even know where I should start as it has been so long since I started playing Splinterlasnds or Steemmonsters which it was called previously. It was all thanks to @davemccoy who insisted I join this game and even gave me a spare account where I could play and learn all about Splinterlands. There were a lot of things to learn and I was able to learn quickly and adapt to various Splinters and even make my own strategies to play the game.
Now it is critical to note that I only Invested the Initial 10 USD to buy the Spellbook and I have developed my card collection to over 125000 USD so basically if I want to liquidate all my Cards tonight I will get approximately 100000 USD that is a 10000X gain on my Investment. But these cards are also enabling me to earn DEC every single day and that is how I have reinvested continuously and amassed such CARDS.
Speaking about DEC I am making approximately 1500 DEC per day which amounts to 15 USD roughly which is a decent income for me and I, in turn, use this DEC to either buy more cards or just cash out for daily expenses.
The next thing that came into Splinterlands was something that has made Splinterlands the most valuable asset that I own and we all know it as SPS or Splintershards. This is something that is currently giving me a daily income of approximately 100 USD per day and if I decide to withdraw all of it then it could possibly become a nice Retirement Fund for me. But as of right now I am Reinvesting some and withdrawing some and I still don't have a clear plan in my head for the SPS I hold. So yes I have to hold and wait for future developments.

Wow again. My monthly pension-like income (for my multiple disabilities) in real life is around $250 USD per month. You get this in less than 3 days just with the SPS airdrop.
I have to say I have been extremely lucky to get to play Splinterlands and because of that qualifying for the Airdrop.
Best Investment of mine Till Date even though it was just 10 USD.
That's pretty amazing. How do you get new cards besides buying them?
Every 24 hours you get a quest which if you complete you will get chests according to your Rank and there are chances to get Cards from those Chests.
