what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using one of my scholar account that played in Diamond League Format.And this time, i want to share that in Rise of Common ruleset battle both player cannot using any epic and legendary monster. But we still can use legendary and epic summoner. And somehow picking the right monster into the battlefield is really hard especially talking about rare and common monster. But, sometimes the combination with only rare and common monster making new meta and can be a good meta to defeat the legendary monster.

Okay since you guys know that the ruleset is Rise of Commons lets knowing this ruleset a little bit deeper.This ruleset description is

Only common and rare units may be used in battles.
Summoners are unaffected by this rule.

Basically this ruleset will make all player thinking new meta using rare and common monsters. Combination the abilities in common and rare sometimes can make the good strategies.

Strategy Phase

In this battle i am using combination monster that can holding with some heals, poison play and opportunity. I am afraid my strategy is not too good since the attack feels like randomly and i am more focused on defence with minimum attack in this battle.

I am choosing Pelacor Mercenary as my frontline tanker because this monster having heal abilities and flying ability. Pretty good for defence and since i am using Immortalis as summoner so this monster will having void ability too. So i think it is pretty good as tanker that can have chance to dodging any melee or range monster type attack with flying ability. And Void ability to reduce damage from magic type attack. Also if this monster got hit by opponent melee monster, this monster will having chance to counter the attack by using Retaliate abilities. So, this monster is really fit as frontline tanker isn'it?

For attacker i am using Venari Scout to hunting the weakest in opponent line up. So, if opponent just planning on full attack, it will defenseless. So this monster that having opportunity ability will be perfectly fit to defeat opponent from the weakest in health. Also this monster having dodge ability that having chance to dodging melee or range monster type attack. So, if the opponent playing opportunity too. Hopefully the RNG working perfectly so this monster can dodge any attack.

For the main attacker i am using Venari Seedsmith that can be a good defender too after some monster in battlefield died. This monster having scavenger that can adding its maximum health after any monster died. And also this monster having 4 range damage that the maximum damage before going reduced if any monster having forcefield ability. And the last this monster having poison ability that have chance to make opponent got poisoned after got hit by this monster. So, sometimes poison play can be good strategy to make opponent monster died fast.

And the last i am using Regal Peryton as my core backline defence. This monster having high speed that have higher chance to dodge any melee or range attack. And for backline, of course i am afraid that opponent will using any sneak monster. Thats why i am using this monster to defend the backline. Also this monster having pretty good magic damage that can damaging opponent frontline tanker too. And if this monster only left in my line up at least this monster still can attacking if placed in frontline.

Battlephase

This time i am encountered with player that from Overpowered guild. And i am really suspecting this player is bot or scholar. But my feeling is this is really a bot or cheater. Many times i am losing to player that having any numbers in their names. Especially mario grup or Djuicer guild player. I think they are abuser and cheater in this game. But yet the developer do nothing and after i reported too, they still doing nothing. Maybe they dont care anymore.

And in this battle as you can see the picture above, only having 2 ruleset.The first ruleset is Corrosive Fog that means both player armor monster will reduced by 1 every turn, and the other ruleset is Rise of Commons that means both player can only using rare and common monsters in this battle. The Manacap that can be used in this battle is just 35 which is really average. And the only element that can be used in this battle is Earth Element. That is really hard for this battle. The ruleset make both player not only thinking twice but need to thinking our of the box. Since there is very few choices in this battle.
After all i am using Immortalis as Summoner. It better than Obsidian right now. Since lately using Legendary summoner is better than using rare summoner. So, lets see what i am doing in this battle

• Junker as Support Attacker
• Venari Scout as Attacker
• Venari Seedsmith as Attacker
• Xenith Archer as Attacker
• Regal Peryton as Backline Defender and Attacker

Opponent Line Up

• Lux Vega as Summoner
• Gargoya Lion as Frontline Tanker
• Xenith Monk as Second Tanker
• Gargoya Devil as Attacker
• Venari Spellsmith as Support Attacker
• Xenith Archer as Attacker
• Supply Runner as Support Attacker

Looking opponent line up, they using speed to make all out attack and make as many as possible to my line up. Thats pretty good line up but, it still can hold by my Pelacor Mercenary since they are not bringing any magic monster into battlefield. And yeah using all neutral monster is kinda odd. Maybe this player dont have any earth element card to used. I dont know either. Seems like bot playing here.

The summary of this battle is of course with using Pelacor Mercenary opponent range monster will missing attacking Pelacor Mercenary sometimes and it make my Pelacor Mercenary having time to heal itself. Also opponent did not baring any monster that having affliction abilities. So, it will be pretty advantage to my line up. And with easy my team can defeated opponent Gargoya Devil and Xenith monk.But, in round 3 we are having tie total monster since my Pelacor Mercenary and my Junker got defeated easily. But, my team can defeated opponent Gargoya Devil too. The most damager in opponent line up. So, it will be easy to defeat opponent line up after opponent Gargoya Devil defeated. In this battle i can said that combination ability will be pretty good too. And as you can see you can battling bot even though you are in modern. So, the announcement is not real at all. No bots banned in modern. Or maybe some of the public bot banned. But, not private one. Since they are still on in modern format. But, yeah it is just my hypotesa. I dont know and i dont care right now. Since the deve dont care either.

Conclution

Okay after lookin in this battle i can said that combine the ability into good team is really necessary. At least if the ruleset will forbid many cards, we still need to pick the good tanker,the good attacker at least one, and backline defender. But, choosing the type of attack is like playing rock paper scissor. We just can guessing, not like many bot out there or player that using helper they are never guess the type of attack. They just copy the best strategy win rate to make the battle good. Thats it. Wonder why the player using cheat in this game. Or they are coward or weak people that want to abuse the small amount of token or what.
