Heal the best defense in Noxious Fumes ruleset

what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I am sharing my battle this time in new format of battle challenge that discussion about the most annoying ruleset that i am very hate this rules. Basically this ruleset is keep damaging all units except the monster have immunity abilities. So, if any monster that does not having immunity ability it will get damage by poison damage. So both players need to think what units that to brings and what summoner that can support the units to survive in this ruleset. This time i am thinking to use heal as defense to my unit and hopefully the defense of my team can holding the Poison damage.

Noxious Fumes before we are going to discuss in strategy phase we need to know what the meaning of this ruleset.All units are Poisoned at the start of the game.Units with Immunity are not poisoned.This is a one-time application - units that are cleansed, resurrected or rebirthed will not be re-applied with poison.Enrage is triggered by Poison application.
After knowing what the effect of this ruleset, so i have ability that can be get advantage of this ruleset.
First is Immunity ability,this ability are not affected of this ruleset. any debuff applied too.

Many ways to defeat and conqueror this ruleset. you can see in my last content here there is the explanation of the other ways to conqueror this ruleset. But,this time i will explanation about the heal ability that can be pretty good as defense for this ruleset.Not only heal but Triage ability is very usefull too in this ruleset.

this ability will heal the lowest HP unit in your team from the second position until last position. Usually this ability will healing your taunt monster first. and somehow this ability can be a bug too. but let's say there is no bug in this battle. So this ability will helping you to keep survive when you got damage from Poison ability from the ruleset. And how to processing and using this ability you can see in my strategy and the battle.

Strategy Phase

As you can see in the picture above this battle have 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Weak Magic that means magic attacks will hit armors before reducing health. The second is Noxiuous Fumes that means all monster will get poison damage every turn and the last is Broken Arrows that means we cannot using range units in this battle. The manacap that can be used is 47 which is very low to build defence system in this battle consider we just can using melee and magic units only. And the element that cannot be used this time is Water element. In this battle i am using life element that having Adelaide Brightwing that having immune ability and i will using Grandmaster Rathe because this summoner will giving additional armor and for the Weak Magic ruleset. So what strategy that i am used you can see in the table below

SummonerScreenshot (2472).pngI am using this summoner because this summoner gives additional armor to all my units and that can be a fatal when the ruleset is weak magic even though this summoner will give void armor ability to all my units but still i am thinking about the weak magic ruleset, and without range units i can say that this summoner is better if battling with magic units except if encountered with Immortalis, that armor can shattered easily by Immortalis ability. Hopefully i dont encountered with earth element that bring Immortalis
Filler Tanker I am using this units because i need unit that can be sacrifices and as a frontliner tanker too and this units is very suitable to fill my team need. If the opponent melee damage hit this units it have chance to counter with retaliate and if the opponent hit this units it is still okay because my Uriel will be guarded by this units first. and having enrage ability it will buffed the melee damage and this unit speed so it will give high damage to opponent front line up especially if the opponent using shield monster tanker.
Frontliner Tanker I am using this units as a tanker because this units having pretty good status to be a frontliner tanker and having heal ability that can help survive in Noxious Fumes ruleset. Not only that with flying ability it will give chance to dodge opponent melee attack. But, to be remember this units can defeated by Affliction ability. Hopefully this units can survive long enough until the opponent lose by poison damage every turn
Support Attacker I am using this units because this units have immunity ability that cannot get damage from poison from Noxious Fumes ruleset and from any debuff. And this units having repair ability that can helping my Uriel to regain armor every turn and with Swiftness ability this units can adding my whole team more faster. And if any units get die from poison this monster can resurrect the unit that die and will cleanse the poison damage from this ruleset.
Support Debuff I am using this units because not as just a filler but this units having high magic damage and can debuff opponent armor with rust and will slowing opponent speed that will make my whole team have advantage to get free damage to opponent units without worrying about armor and will have high chance to attacking opponent first.
Back Attacker I am using this units because this units having Life leech ability that can adding Maximum Health for this units after hit opponent Health. with this ability it can make this units chance to surive longer in Poison battle. And this units will finishing off the back line up first with sneak ability.
Support Attacker I am using this units because this unit have triage ability that will healing my team that place from second position until 6th position. And with triage it can hold more longer in poison battle and maybe this unit will be the key to win from this battle.

So this is my line up arrangement. I think my strategy of the healing procces is very good, hopefully i am not encountered with Immortalis that can shattered every armor on my team. and hopefully my team can survive longer than the opponent line up in Poison battle.

Battlephase

This time i meet up with new Dragon summoner that having triage ability and having camouflage ability. that will make my plans attacking from behind fail. But, lets see how the battle going

Round 1

As usual in the first round both parties get buff and debuff from both summoners and monsters.
In this battle my team got

  • Additional 1 Armor Void armor and Amplify ability from my Summoner Grandmaster Rathe ability
  • 1 Debuff melee attack from opponent Harklaw ability Demoralize
  • 1 additional speed from my Adelade Brightwing ability Swiftness
  • 1 additional HP from my Djinn Renova ability strengthen
  • Posion Damage every turn from Noxious Fumes ruleset battle
    In opponent side got
  • 1 debuff speed from my Time Mage ability Slow
  • 2 Armor debuff from my Time Mage ability Rust
  • Posion Damage every turn from Noxious Fumes ruleset battle

In round 1 as i planned my Drybone Barbarian easily defeated by opponent magic units. but it got resurrected by my Adelade Brightwing. So, in this turn opponent attack just focused on my frontliner that will be okay that the next round my Drybone Barbarian will attack first.

Round 2

At the beginning of the round the poison damage all units in the battlefield except my Drybone Barbarians, Adelade Brgightwing that having immunity ability and opponent Harklaw that also having immunity ability. And in round 2 opponent Djinn Chwala fainted with poison damage. And my Stitch Leech succed to defeated opponent Djinn Muirat. And in this round opponent Magi of Chaos defeated my Drybone Barbarian.

Round 3

The battle still tight. in this round after all units got Poison damage, all units still can survive and in this round opponent Harklaw is stronger than expected. But also my team still having Uriel as tanker that having heal ability and have high HP and armor so this round it is just both party attacking each other tanker but no one tanker from both parties got knock out

Round 4

In round 4 the opponent line up seems broken opponent Harklaw defeated by my Time Mage and after my Uriel recharge attack from round 3 this round unleashed and defeat opponent Magi of Chaos. And my Adelade Brightwing defeated opponent Revealer got sucked by my stitch leech.And in the end of this round the opponent line up leaving just Magi Necrosi that just having 3 HP left. I can guarantee that next round this unit will be anihillited too.

Round 5

After got poison damage in this round my Time Mage and Djinn Renova fainted. but it is okay i am still having Stitch leech,Adelade brightwing that having immunity ability and the last is Uriel that having heal ability. and with one touch from my Stitch leech opponent Magi Necrosi fainted this time and i win this battle.

Conclution

After experiencing this battle i can say that my heal strategy was succesfull. Using Immunity ability units is pretty good but if we just depends on just one or 2 units that having Immunity ability is very hard. Except you can manage how the battle will goes as your plan. But,with the complexity of the ability it will be hard especially in Diamond League with maxed level cards. thats why i need backup plan that support my Immunity ability unit in this case is Adelade Brightwing to survive until the battle end. Uriel is the perfect tanker in this situation for my opinion. But, i can say Immortalis is the one that can bring down my armored in this battle but, with no range units maybe using Immortalis will be blunder itself. there is no units that can heal itself in Earth element unit. For good defence i am still prefered using Grandmaster Rathe with life element that the units almost having great fromation for just defence.
