Meteor is on the way

Heyyy yooooo
what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using one of my own account that played in Diamond League Format.And this time, i want to share that in Shades of Gray ruleset battle there is monster that really hard and overpowered besides Doctor Blight. That is Grimbandun Smith new rebellion set card. Thats why sometimes bringing monster that having scattershot ability is necessary to avoiding focusing attacking frontline.

Okay since you guys know that the ruleset is Shades of Grey lets knowing this ruleset a little bit deeper.This ruleset description is

Only Neutral Units may be used in battles.

Basically both player just can using neutral monster. Which is usually neutral Monster is used to filling and completing the strategy. And with this ruleset player need make the neutral monster to be the main monster as strategy. And it is really hard at least for me. Many times i am losing the battle when this ruleset appear.

Strategy Phase

In this battle of course my main monster is absolutely Doctor Blight. But, i am still need make the combination work. And finding the good tanker, attacker support in only neutral monster is kinda hard. Some of them did not work to make good strategy and sometimes i am just placing monster without thinking anymore and just hope to luck.

Of course because i am not having Grimbandun Smith in my deck, so i am using Xenith Monk instead. And this monster also pretty good as frontline tanker because this monster can heal itself and having void to compress any magic damage and the best part of this monster is having magic reflect ability that can gives backdamage to monster that using Magic type attack.

For the melee attacker i am using Junker this monster is pretty good as secondliner tanker and can be a good support and attacker too. This monster having reach for back up to attack opponent frontline tanker. And this monster having the highest melee attack before reach the forcefield ability that is 5 damage. Also this monster have repair ability so, it will repairing any damaged armor in my line up, especially to my frontliner tanker.

Of course i am bringing Doctor Blight as the main carry in my line up. This monster having pretty complex ability that can support to be tanker and attacker at the same time. Having scavenger ability that can make this monster adding maximum health after any monster died in the battlefield. Also this monster cannot be targeted except this monster going to frontline due the camouflage ability. And the good and make this monster overpowered is having affliction and poison ability. The affliction will make opponent that got inflicted by affliction effect cannot be healed. And the poisin gives 2 damage each round.

When the last battle i am encountered against Grimbandun Smith as frontline tanker and that monster is very hard to beat. Thats why this time i am bringing Gem Meteor to be my attacker because this monster having Scattershot ability that can attack randomly. Also this monster having high range damage to. But, it will make me depending on RNG in this game. And talking about RNG. Mostly the RNG is not support to human player either. I dont know it because hijacked or hack or cheat i dont know. But based on my experience depending on RNG is not good at all.

Battlephase

This time i am encountered with player that from Cypher Seven the guild that i am suspecting using helper and some of that kind. But i am never met this player before. I dont know how this player will playing this decks. So lets check out how the battle going.

And in this battle as you can see the picture above,having 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Shades of Gray that means only neutral monster that can be used in this battle. The second ruleset is Target Practice that means all range and magic monster will attacking the non melee monster units first. And the last but not least is Born Again that means all monster will have rebirth ability in this battle and can resurrected once after defeated. Manacap that can be used in this battle is 34 which is quite low. And the element that cannot be used in this battle is Earth and Dragon element, So both player cannot pick Earth and Dragon summoner in this battle since the only monster that can be used in this battle is neutral monster units.

My Line Up

• Xenith Monk as frontline tanker
• Junker as Attacker
• Venari Marksrat as filler
• Doctor Blight as Carry
• Supply Runner as Support
• Gem Meteor as Attacker

Opponent Line Up

• Kelya Frendul as Summoner
• Gargoya Lion as Frontline Tanker
• Junker as Attacker
• Venator Kinjo as Support
• Gem Meteor as Attacker
• Supply Runner as Support
• Doctor Blight as Carry

Looking on opponent line up, opponent having better speed than my line up. The speed different is caused by Venator Kinjo that reduce my team line up speed with slow ability. But, i still dont know who will win at first. Hopefully that my Gem meteor will attack opponent Doctor Blight first before attacking everyone else, And yeah this time i am not fortunate that the opponent not bring Grimbandun Smith.

The summary of this battle is the truth is this battle is toe to toe. Is is very hard to determine who the winner. But, what makes different is my Junker and my Doctor Blight got buffed twice due the Born Again ruleset and Target Practice rulese that make opponent range and magic type attack monster will attacking my Venari Marksrat first. And for opponent line up my team will attacking opponent Gem Meteor first. And it will make opponent losing the power if Gem Meteor defeated. Also if both player just leaving with only Doctor Blight. My Doctor Blight is stronger because got twice buffed from martyr effect. And after opponent Gem Meteor and Supply Runner defeated. It will make my line up easily defeated opponent line up.

Conclution

From this battle i learning that martyr ability is really can make big big difference. Especially when encountered with ruleset that make player have limited option. So, the buff will really make big different even though just adding 1 attack or 1 health. Like this battle the different of my Doctor Blight and Junker can make the different outcome. The additional speed,health,and attack will make different each round and compounding. It will make my team easily defeated opponent.
