Pirate of 8 "will" dominate the second liner

In this content i want to share about the next generation of second liner monster. Second monster liner is monster that having reach ability. Each edition have the best second liner. Like in Alpha Beta Edition on Death element called Corrupted Pegasus or Oaken Behemoth and in water element there is Electric Eel before Tide Biter comes out. Yeah i said Pirates of 8 "Will" dominate because right now, there is still hampered because of Tide Biter. The ability from Pirates of Eight will be useless in front of Tide Biter.

Pirate of 8 is the second liner monster that having pretty cool stats. With 4 melee damage. The biggest attack in front of Forcefield ability and having 4 speed also which is pretty good above speed average. And having 6 health. for defense this monster is just pretty average. And the ability is reach that make this monster can attack from second line up. And Blast ability that can gives adjacent units get cleavage damage after got hit. Yeah, this ability can be helped but will be useless in front of Reflection Shield ability monster. However, if the opponent did not bring any reflection shield ability monster. This monster will be badass and deadly. So, i think after Tide Biter going to wild format, Pirates of Eight will be dominate for the second liner monster.

This time i encountered with Thespican from Praetorians Guild. And lets see the ruleset

This battle have 3 ruleset. The first ruleset is Might Makes Right that means both players can only using 3 or more attacks units into the battlefield. The second ruleset is Counterspell that means all monster units will get Magic Reflect ability. and the last but not least Noxius Fumes that means all monster will got poisoned stats in the beginning of the match. The manacap that can be used in this battle is 40 which yeah pretty average. And the element that can be used in this battle is Water,Earth,and Death element. Those element kinda deadly in this ruleset except Earth element that can be using Quora from Gladius edition. But,the summoner is just gives 1 speed debuff which is not too good for entire team on 40 manacap. In this battle i am using Water element since both attack and defense are more stable than the others. But, back again in Poison battle, Water element sometimes cannot be reliable.

On the opponent side he using water element with Possibilus as the Summoner. Pretty good for defense since adding 2 additional health. And bringing Range attack as carry in the back.

Meanwhile mine, i am using Djinn Oshannus as Frontline Tanker that can gives direct hit using Magic damage and i am bringing Sea Stalker that having Cleanse ability and can be as a carry too since the range damage is 5. And this time i am bringing Pirate of Eight as second attacker, i just want to try it using this monster.

And the summary of this battle is yes opponent defense are stronger than i am expecting. But, my team speed faster than opponent. That will make my team can beating one by one opponent first before they attacking my team. But, what makes harder is the Poison effect. I am forgot why dont bring any monster that having triage ability in this battle, But, in the end in this battle the speed is determine for the winner. Since the poison will gives damage to all in the next round. It will make my team easily beat opponent line up.
From the frontline tanker then the Halfling Refugee and then Deeplurker. And what helping me because the blast effect gives side damage that can really break the strategy. Thats why my team can beat the frontliner faster. And when the range monster goes to front they cannot do anything. So, i can said that yeah health is necessary but i think speed is more important in this battle.
