Queen of Crows Taking Her Crown

what's up Splinter Player around the world how are you doing? I want to share my battle using one of my scholar account that played in Diamond League Format.And this time, i want to share that in Odds One out ruleset battle we just can use odd mana cost monster in our line up. Sometimes this ruleset is really hard to be played. Especially when comes the ruleset that adding the limited of choice like in this battle. Lets see what the best worst ruleset in this battle.

Okay since you guys know that the ruleset is Lost Magic lets knowing this ruleset a little bit deeper.This ruleset description is

Only units with odd mana costs may be used.
Summoners are not affected by this rule.

Fortunately we still can using even manacost summoner. If we cannot using summoner with even manacost it will be super hard. Since there are just few manacost summoner that having odd manacost. And with this limited i think it makes the battle harder than usual. But, sometimes it will make less stress especially when encountered with cheater in this game. Limited usually can make strategy more simple than it would be.

Strategy Phase

In this battle i am using all range type attack monster since there is other ruleset that make both player can only using range type attack monster.

I am using Queen of Crows as the main attacker also as frontline tanker in this game. This monster is really strong to repelling range type attack because this monster having Return Fire ability that can gives damage back after got hit by range type attack monster. And this monster can attack whenever the place since this monster having Close Range ability. And with Headwind this monster can reduce opponent range attack monster. And the last this monster having Slow ability that can make the opponent slower than my line up. Also look at the health. This monster having huge amount of health that can endure some damage from the opponent.

For the second attacker i am using Dhampir Stalker. This monster having huge amount of range damage that is 5. But due this monster attack it will be very useless if opponent having forcefield ability. But, i doubt that in this battle opponent having monster that having forcefield ability. Thats why i am using this monster. And this monster cannot miss any attack since this monster having true strike ability.

I am bringing Soul Strangler in this battle to make poison play. Even though this monster is really weak for defence. But, this monster is really usefull for playing offense. This monster having 4 range attack which is really great amount of damage. Also this monster having poison ability that can having chance to give opponent monster poison status after this monster hit opponent monster.

And another attacker that i am used to my strategy line up is Gem Meteor this monster is really usefull especially nowdays because this monster having scattershot ability that can attack randomly. But, this time i am utilize this monster range attack and speed of this monster. This monster speed included as the fastest monster for range type attack, and that 4 range damage is also counted as big amount of attack. If opponent having armor for the defence, this monster can still penetrate the armor with piercing ability.

Battlephase

This time i am encountered with player that from Legendary Wyverns that very famous that suspected many player from this Legendary Guild using private Helper. But, i dont know the truth. I think it just some of people not all player that using the cheat. And yeah i think it will be okay if using cheat or not since the dev are not taking any action till now.

And in this battle as you can see the picture above, having 3 ruleset.The first ruleset is Going to The Distance that means both player can only just using range type attack monster into this battle. The second ruleset is Reverse Speed that means the monster with the lowest speed will be the faster one. And the last but not least is Odd Ones Out that means both player can only using odd manacost monster into this battle. The manacap on this battle is 40 which is thats only average. And the element that cannot be used in this battle is Water and Dragon element. Looking the ruleset, it is really hard to arranging good strategy in this battle. Especially when the monster in our deck is not complete. There will be very limited choice and as you know, with limited choice it will make the higher chance to lose. Fortunately i rent some of newest card from riftwatcher edition that can helping me in this battle.

• Astral Entity as Summoner
• Venari Marksrat as Support Filler
• Queen of Crows as Frontline Tanker and Attacker
• Gargoya Devil as Second Tanker and Attacker
• Dhampir Stalker as Attacker
• Soul Strangler as Attacker
• Gem Meteor as Attacker

Opponent Line Up

• Immortalis as Summoner
• Gargoya Devil as Frontline Tanker
• Venari Marksrat as Filler Attacker
• Vampiric Blossoms as Attacker
• Venari Seedsnith as Attacker
• Fungus Flinger as Filler Attacker
• Goblin Tower as Attacker

Looking into opponent line up, i cannot said anything about it. I am really confused with this line up. This opponent can guessing i am bringing scattershot ability range monster?? since the placement of the martyr ability monster seems weird. It is like placing that cannot be hit first except using scattershot ability monster. As far as i remember in modern format there are not monster with opportunity ability in range type attack. Thats why i am suspecting many player using cheat nowdays. I dont think that humans will placing like that. Except thats it using cheat or this player can see the future and knowing exactly that the opponent will direct attack in that way. Or maybe he calculating that the opponent will using blast ability. I dont know either.

The Summary of this battle as the Reverse Speed ruleset the opponent Goblin Tower will direct hit to my Venari Marksrat and with blast ability, it will get back damage to the attacker. And after my Venari Marksrat dead, my Astral Entity ability resurrect will active and bringing Venari Marksrat back alive again. Then of course my Venari Marksrat cannot hold any longer and easily defeated. And after defeated that will make my Queen of Crows get double buff in total. What i imagine is opponent will be easy attacking my Queen of Crows due the speed different. and with high speed it will be easy target right in reverse speed. But, it turns out the dodge ability come out and make many opponent monster missing attacking my Queen of Crows.

And the good point is both of player having so many miss attacking each other. But, since my Queen of Crows health is huge and having Return Fire ability. It will make opponent health will depleted in no time. And after opponent Gargoya Devil defeated. It will make opponent hardly holding any attack since they dont have any frontline tanker again.
And fortunately i am bringing Dhampir Stalker that can still hit regardless the speed different. True Strike ability will always hit opponent monster. That really help my team up to defeated one by one of the opponent line up. Especially in battle like this. So many miss attacking each other. I dont know why but often the RNG is really broken and not work as it should be. The combination ruleset is not work either with RNG. Especially when many cheater showing up in this game. As far as i know after Xbot come out public, the game is never the same again. So many cheater from the highest rating till lowest rating.

Conclution

Okay after experiencing this battle. i can say that Queen of Crows combined with Astral Entity in Odds Ones Out ruleset is really working. But, dont forget to bring Dhampir Stalker because this monster having true strike ability that can make never miss the attack. But, yeah we need still arranging the strategy with the other ruleset too. Not based only with just 1 ruleset.
