This was a big one and it was very difficult choosing winners, much less a first place! As a reminder, here were the prizes that were up for grabs:

All of the entries were so good but as always, we've got to pick a top 3 somehow. Without further ado, let's see the winners!

Featured Battle Winner: @Beffeater!

Congratulations @beffeater! Your battle was chosen as today's winner! It was quite the battle with a lot of back and forth. It really was a rollercoaster all the way to the end!

At first glance, you can see the different approaches the two teams took in this one. With Equal Opportunity, Magic is everyone's go to (or counter Magic) but with only Fire and Water available in this Modern Match, there probably won't be any heavy Magic but "sprinkles" of it.

You can also see the polar opposites on the Diemonshark positioning! Beffeater wants to get those juicy tramples while his opponent went for the hard to kill tank.

Part 1 - BIG Hits (and Misses)

A lot happened in these 2 rounds. The bottom player's mixed attack of Magic and Melee (with poison) was really able to take out some important monsters. I think if beffeater swapped the position of his Tortisian Figher and Frost Lion, it wouldn't have been so close!

Part 2 - A Wild Back and Forth

What a rollercoaster round! Beffeater looks to be wrecking his opponent but all of a sudden the bottom player gets rolling and it's MUCH closer than it was at the beginning of the round.

Part 3 - DOWN TO THE WIRE

Wow what an ending! After all that back and forth in the previous rounds, we were still treated to a bit of drama with all the misses!

Luckily for beffeater, he was able to go first in that last round since it was essentially a coin flip at that point.

Runner-Up #1: @Jim-crypto with the Nasty Double Bloodlust

What a ridiculous use of the new Jacek summoner. You ended up with 2 absolute monsters who jsut traded Bloodlust kills.

Runner-Up #2: @Henruc with Very Unique Equalizer Battle

Wow, henruc. This was such a cool line-up. Usually with low-medium mana Equalizer battles, you see a lot of "glass cannons" but you took an entirely different approach and basically went with 1 big guy with a ton of support. Extremely interesting and cool to see.

Congrats, @henruc! It is always great seeing your entries and enjoy the Gold Vampire Bat!
