VLOG 📸| MY HAPPY 30'S 🎂

Nací un 9 de diciembre del 92. Cuenta mi mamá que era tan pequeñita que me cargaban con una almohada. Todo parecía estar "bien" pero siendo bebé comencé a enfermar mucho. Al año de nacida me hacen una prueba llamada electroforesis por unos síntomas peculiares que tenía: hinchazón de manos y pies. Y ¡Tará! salí diagnosticada con una enfermedad hereditaria denominada: Anemia Falciforme. De mi infancia tengo breves recuerdos, sí fui una niña bailarina y feliz, pero crecí con muchos miedos. Sobretodo cuando empecé a escuchar "no sabemos cuánto más crecerá". Había muy poca información de mi condición y todos los doctores le daban a mis padres pocas esperanzas, la adolescencia fue dura. Pero todo eso me preparó.

Crecer con miedos no ha sido fácil. No imaginé llegar a esta edad, por diversas razones. Y aún escribiendo esto, me parece inverósimil. Pero estoy super feliz de hacerlo. Este año ha sido verdaderamente duro a nivel de salud y pese a todo: ¡Cumplí 30! Debo confesar que aunque mi edad parece grande, mi niña interior está totalmente tranquila porque sigue intacta llena de sueños.

Les agradezco a todos los que me siguen y me han dejado sus hermosos comentarios, en especial a mi hogar @espavlog, todo el team sabe y ha sido testigo de mi evolución este año. Tardé en hacer este video porque realmente quería hacer algo especial. Y terminó siendo una película personal + vlog de lo que viví en mi cumple. Espero que les guste y me dejen saber en los comentarios si se animan a editar la película de su vida, los invito a hacerlo, es parte de romantizar los recuerdos bonitos y malos. Sé que me faltó mucho por contar, porque sí, las imágenes cuentan por sí sola algunas de mis experiencias.

I was born on December 9, 1992. My mother says that I was so tiny that I was carried with a pillow. Everything seemed to be "fine" but when I was a baby I started to get very sick. A year after I was born, I underwent a test called electrophoresis due to some peculiar symptoms I had: swollen hands and feet. I was diagnosed with a hereditary disease called sickle cell anemia. I have brief memories of my childhood, yes I was a happy and dancing child, but I grew up with many fears. Especially when I started to hear "we don't know how much bigger it will get". There was very little information about my condition and all the doctors gave my parents little hope, adolescence was hard. But all of that prepared me.

Growing up with fears has not been easy. I never imagined I would reach this age, for a variety of reasons. And even writing this, it seems implausible to me. But I'm super happy to do it. This year has been really hard in terms of health and in spite of everything: I turned 30! I must confess that although my age seems very big, my inner girl is totally calm because she is still intact and full of dreams.

It took me a while to make this video because I really wanted to do something special. And it ended up being a personal movie + vlog of what I lived on my birthday.
