Banging out two game modes - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 96 Report Card

Hi everyone!

I'm publishing this just before this season ends, and I have to say, this season went pretty well. I managed to get on the leaderboard for both Survival and Modern, which I'm super happy with, and earned a ton of Glint, but, man, it was a lot.

I played way more games than I was actually comfortable with - it was massively unsustainable for me... but it did mean that I was able to jump back up to the 700K Glint mark which I'm always aiming for (for those Legendary Draws).

It's super interesting and I'm curious to see how the pack sales will go.
I was worried that the Land Cards would have skills that would make land plots more efficient... which would be a shame since it seems there has been more supply than demand for items crafted by land resources for a while - the skills in these packs have been more around skins and Glint, which I'm happy to see.

I'm not so into skins myself, but I am always excited to see my opponents sport them and anything that creates more excitement around land is a good thing.

One thing I'm not super sure about is if the DAO gets the proceeds or Splinterlands Inc does...?

Let's check in with the prices of Land crafted items:

22 days ago in my report for Last Season Wagon Repair Kits were $1.29, and now they're $1.20, which is honestly higher than I thought it would be.

The price of the Unbinding Scrolls for Legendries has dropped a full dollar in that time though, which I am not surprised by, I assume that people are getting close to maxing out all cards.

I had totally missed the memo on Lustrous Potion which doubles people's chances in certain Arcane Draws... but looks like there is plenty of supply... still, I'm glad to see more Aura sinks.

Especially since I am absolutely swimming in Aura myself:

In very silly news once again I completely missed the Survival Tournament... and the silliest part, I had actually been playing Splinterlands the day it was on, and just did not realize...

I'm so bad at collecting that extra Glint.

That said, I will obviously buying the cards I need to max it out because Summoners are everything. While not quite as fun as poisoning the opponents cards, exhausting them would not not be fun - and Flying is always going to be necessary for Modern.

Just a sucker for summoners I guess.

The weird thing about this Season End screen is that it doesn't add in the Glint I won for Modern too.

So I made 14th on the Leaderboard for Survival and 15th on the Leaderboard for Modern. Good job me!

I also did do okayish in the Survival Tournament for the previous Survival Season (I've gotten 3 Survival Tournament tokens and accidentally missed 2 of the 3 tournaments).

26th if much higher than I expected - I don't have that many cards compared to so many of the whales. I was hoping or 31K Glint, so definitely a bonus.

Between Survival, Modern and the Tournament, I managed to grab 500K+ Glint, not too shabs.

Great pull! I get to upgrade Azhar Ibn Sulaim, Nessa & Savaketh bringing all 3 of them to max. I've now got 8 of the 12 legendary cards maxed. This is my collection now:

I need 9 more cards to max all the Conclave Arcana reward Legendary cards.

I've just purchased 2 more cards to bring my number of maxed up to 10. Looking at the amount of cards for sale, I started to get nervous about the liquidity.

Oooof. Okay, rightly so... look at this:

I need 2 of these, but there's literally only one on the market (and now none, I got this one too).

Same with this guy... I need 5...

I've bought these ones too...

Okay, after that little spending spree, I now only need 2 cards to max out the Reward Legendary cards.

This was a really good season for me... but playing 200 games in a single season was way too much... I won't be doing that again for a while...
