# NEW LAND CARDS - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 82 Report Card

Hi everyone!

Firstly, I just wanted to let you know that I haven't been able to get @kiokizz SplinterStats Season Report Card working. I've been trying for days but it gets stuck at "Getting Splinterlands settings."

I'll follow the format of the Report Card as closely as I can... but I just won't have the data it normally provides.

I only just remembered right this second that I only have 6 days to decide if I'm going to unbind my Rebellion Reward card duplicates and gold foil cards to sell on the secondary market... or not.

Correction, 6 days and 16 hours.

The card above will cost me $73.27 USD to unlock, but there is nothing else on the market so I truly have no idea if I would be wasting that money on a card no one wants... or if it would be snapped off the market immediately because the people who want it have no other options.

Or, do I take the safe option and burn it for Glint:

I have a heap of cards in all rarities.

A card like this:

Costs $2.93 to unlock and there are a ton of copies at the $3.80 mark... which again makes it really unclear if there is a demand for these cards or not. These cards were around $10 while Rebellion Rewards were live, then immediately dropped to $5 (screenshot last season) and now at $3.79.

I think while writing this I've talked myself into just burning them for Glint. I'm not sure I can literally afford to buy all the DEC required to unlock the cards I don't need... and I don't think they have any value to keep.

Firstly, I do love seeing my opponents with their various skins... but I personally will not be chasing any skins because I'm too focused on collecting all the Conclave Arcana Reward cards.

Secondly, I spent Glint on the chests last season but I had been thinking during this season that it was kind of a waste. I should save the Glint for the Reward Card Draws only.

The 5 new cards only available in the Chest Jackpots could completely change that though:

I've never received a Jackpot prize in a chest before but that is a super cool motivator. I think I'll concentrate on the Draws for now, but I really could be convinced if I start to see these cards pop up in play.

LAND CARDS!

If you haven't seen the Medium post check it out. It's pretty exciting.

I love love love the idea of cards craftable by land resources. This is amazing.

Unfortunately though, I think these cards might be somewhat out of my reach. I only have 7 land plots, but I've absolutely loaded them up with super strong workers... this is my only Aura plot (the others are grain and stone):

None of the Land cards come close to the Set Boosts I'm getting:

Which is totally fine... I absolutely do not want brand new Land cards making Alpha and Beta cards redundant.

My least productive land plot is this one:

So I could potentially make some headway with Land cards here, except, the super useful Land Stats tool tells me I'm not going to have much luck:

This is where my 'few but powerful' plots strategy falls apart. My player share is absolutely tiny.

So I can't craft any decent amount of land cards, and I don't have the funds to buy them, so I think I'm not participating... but I'm glad they exist because there is still way too much Aura around.

Also... my worst plot is desert, which means ideally I'm looking for Fire or Dragon workers...

.... but the five available Land Cards are:

Common (Water)
Rare (Earth)
Epic (Life)
Legendary (Death)

I assume more Land cards will be dropped in the future, but I'm definitely out for now. Also I need all my resources for Wagon Repair Kits.

I still haven't managed to sell my 45 Auction Marks or 5 Unbinding Scrolls (CA) (Legendary) - so I'm light on DEC to pay for more land resources, so I need to save what I have for repairs for conflicts (I'm still not sure if I'll produce enough resources to get me through to the last conflict.

I really do think I'm going to have to trade my SPS to afford to buy the supplemental conflict cards to max out those conflict archons. I imagine they'll be must haves... (Rebellion Archon/Summoner Conflict cards definitely were.

If making DEC from Aura is my goal, then Unbinding scrolls were a bad choice:

Which makes sense... the more expensive items are restricted by access to other land resources.

In other news, I'm not putting too much effort into the Weekly Fortune Draws:

I got a pretty high entry count in draw 1 because I spent Glint on Chests... but I'm not intending to do that again anytime soon, so I'm likely to have around 100-200 entries per draw - against 300,000 entries, so 0.03% chance of a win. Not impossible but very unlikely, so I'm not going to put any extra effort into winning daily entries.

My terrible plan of trying for leaderboard spots every second season seems to be going pretty well.

Weirdly, my off-season last season I got 186K Glint from wins, but this season I got 393K from wins, so I'm sacrificing 120K Glint to win 300-400K Glint the next season.

Unfortunately my terrible plan wasn't executed quite as well as I would have liked and I didn't manage to break into the Top 20 in Wild.

I'm really missing the SplinterCards Soulbound Monitor... if anyone has seen an alternative for Conclave Arcana, please let me know.

Let's start with Batch 1 of Legendary for 700,000 Glint (no potions):

This means I've now been able to upgrade 3 of them to level 2:

Next is 25 Epic Draws for 375,000 Glint (no potions):

I won't bother with the screenshot, but no gold foils.

Couple of Level 3 Epic cards so far:

Next is Batch 1 of 100 Rare Draws for 150,000 Glint (no potions):

I got 2 gold foils in that batch...

5 level 4 cards (which is half way) so that's exciting.

Next is Batch 1 of 400 Common Draws (300 each) for 120,000 Glint (no potions):

1 gold foil in that lot.

I've got a couple of level 6 common cards which is over half way, so that's really exciting (but also I'm very aware that maxing out the last few cards requires so much luck and duplication)...

Okay, so I spent 1,375,000 Glint this season...

but I'm probably going to be making under 900K Glint over 2 seasons (so an average of 450K glint per season)... obviously making 450K and spending 1,375K is wildly unsustainable, but when I deplete my Glint cache, I just won't be able to buy all the rarity draws at once. I'll prioritize Legendary then Epic then Rare then Common because that's the order of most expensive to least expensive to buy if I get to the end of this edition without maxing them out.

I'm so curious on everyone's thoughts about the Land cards, and the Weekly Fortune Draws, and the new Jackpot cards and all the things. I do really love that there's way too much in the game to get everything so we're going to have to be really smart with how we spend our resources. I love that.
