I legitimately make up something like 200-300 points in the last 45 minutes of the season. In the past that last hour can be totally hit and miss. The last few times I tried I completely destroyed days of progress, but this time I got really lucky, and not only made it into Diamond III but got into Diamond II... I even got that 7 game winning streak.. the day before I had been on 5.
I think I'm starting to work out that the mornings are a good time for me to play. I tend to win more at that time... I think, I might be too sleepy to realise I'm not doing that well.

For this season 29, I grabbed 47 loot chests. Definitely happy with that... I think that now I'm tracking the number of chests I finished the season with, the amount of credits/SPS per season make a lot more sense. Although how lucky you are with winning packs still has a huge effect on your credit rewards. I do love grabbing 162 cards for my collection... that is absolutely my focus at the moment.

In this current Season 30, I did really love starting halfway to Diamond III... but in the first 3 days of this season I've lost so much that I'm barely in Gold I. While I want to try and spend as much time as possible in the Diamond leagues, I think I have to realize that I'm just not quite competitive enough for those first few chaotic days of the season.
I love that at times you can win against an opponent that has much more expensive cards than you... but on the whole it really is hard to compete with people who really do have a lot more powerful cards than you... either in level or in rarity.

So great reward packed cards
I still haven't tried modern league, but do notice wild league looks a lot harder since the bot ban in modern, I barely made it to diamond this season! Can't wait to see a full bot ban, very curious about what will it do to gameplay.
It's funny... I've never really been able to decide if bots are easier or harder to beat. On one hand they're far less flexible to the specifics of the individual games, and you can work out counters to their usual builds... but on the other hand they tend to be optimized to winning as much as possible. Interesting that Wild has gotten harder... I basically made the switch from Wild to Modern a couple of months ago when I realised I just wasn't getting anywhere in Wild. My collection is way more suited to Wild, lots of my cards are from the Beta edition, but I'm definitely having more success in Modern now.
Do you think there will ever be a full bot ban? I got the impression the Splinterlands company was fundamentally opposed to that?
I never understood why the bot "friendliness"; I guess due to the decentralization and freedom idea. But as the bots exploded and AI got better, what was a small nuisance became a huge problem: on the long term, it's near impossible to have the same win rate as a decent AI bot. I've see some experiments from decent players with season as human/season as bot, and bots clearly had the advantage. And either I'm getting creappier playing this, or bots in wild exploded! :) As you, my deck is a lot more suited to play wild, and I think I miss some crucial modern cards, including summoners; besides, wild seems more fun to me, with all the different choices I have. Yes, that's exactly it... to appeal to the decentralization of blockchain (and I imagine initially a lot of bot owners were buying a lot of cards).
I'm definitely missing some crucial Modern cards, I don't have any of the cheaper summoners except for Waka and the Dragon one... which is enough to get me through most situations, but not all.
I'm sure you're not getting crappier!!
