Hi everyone!
I managed to get myself a full maxed out Rebellion collection, and so I've been trying out lots of different combos... and losing A LOT, but it's fun and there is just so much variation.
There's 6 days to go of the current season and I'm already doing well in Wild, Champs III is in sight... but Modern just feels like such an impossible slog to get out of bronze.
I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with the balancing of Rebellion. I had assumed that the newer cards would be slightly overpowered compared to earlier editions... but I'm definitely getting beaten a lot by people not using any Rebellion cards, especially in Modern.
Anyway, Land 1.5 and Rebellion have changed things up quite a lot, so it's very exciting times!

Season 36 went pretty well for me. Always excited to make it into Diamond I.
Getting out of Bronze in Modern is such a strategy shift. I'm very slowly learning that most games are won with either Quora Towershead or Djinn Oshannus. It's weird because you rarely see Quora in Wild Gold/Diamond but they're both so powerful in Bronze. It's a total strategy-shift.
My lack of CL cards obviously hurts in Modern now, but my plan is to slowly sell any doubles I have in Rebellion and pick up the Cl and Riftwatchers cards that I need. Hopefully in a few weeks I'll be as competitive as anyone else in Bronze... and finally crawl my way out to eventually get to Wild/Modern parity.

I got 58 End of Season chests, so pulled 272 cards overall... which is a massive haul for me. The previous season I had gotten 116 cards... so yeah, massive.
Very exciting to get those 2 Legendries!

Oh... so Land 1.5 dropped and I've got my 7 plots... with 5 of those producing SPS.
I used to get 9.7 SPS daily for my 7 plots, but now that I'm working 5 plots for SPS I'm making 4.16 SPS per hour - that's nearly 100 SPS per day, so I'm getting 10X the SPS I was getting for my Land plots.
HOWEVER... I totally raided my DEC LPs for Rebellion, so I'm getting way less SPS in "Liquidity Rewards" and will get less still in future seasons.
Hopefully the investment into Rebellion is worth the lack of SPS collected, and hopefully the resources out of Land are greater than the DEC I was getting with my rentals. I'm not sure there is any real way to tell, so I'm just going to assume it is and not think about it too much.
You can see the drop in SPS earned below... that's all from my reduction in the LPs... be interesting to see if winning more games and earning more on Land helps.

Oh... looks like the Rental section dropped off. I had pulled all my cards a while ago when they first announced a date for Land 1.5... but then it got delayed for 2 weeks and I never put them back up... so I haven't earn DEC for a while.
Overall, I'm having fun with Land and with Rebellion. All my plots are built up now, so I just check in every now and then to collect all the resources. The sneak peak of the Land 2.0 whitepaper definitely looked interesting... but I imagine that the Splinterlands team needs to take a massive break now to recover from Rebellion and Land 1.5.
Hope the game is going well! Also, the screen shot at the top was a great Brawl pack I got recently... pretty sure that's as good as it gets!

Ah, your Win/Loss ratio for Gold is incredible! I don't think I've ever gotten it that high! I think I barely get about 1.10(ish). Well done on getting into Gold! That's awesome!
Also.. I just had a look at your card collection in the game, it looks like you've got a lot of cards ready to level up... will you be levelling them up or selling those ones off?
I haven't been levelling them up past level 3 because my main summoners only level 2/3. I have been focused on adding come legendries that seem to work well at my level. I suppose I might need to work out a plan for moving up and pushing higher. There is so much happening in the game it takes a bit to work the best options for my style.

You could potentially sell your extras to help you level up other cards to levels 2/3. I've been using Peakmonsters.com recently to list lots of cards on the market and it seems to be working well.
Do what you're comfortable with, no stress, I just wanted to make sure that you knew you had cards that could be leveled up if you wanted.
