# New Reward Card day! Very exciting! - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 53 Report Card

@aussieninja

Love this Sorriel The Bale piece by @yahshuadavid. There are so many Splinterlands art pieces that don't really look like the characters that much... but with this one I instantly knew who it was. It's so good!

Hi everyone!

The past few seasons I've been focused on really just a couple of things:

1.) Getting to Champs II in Wild
2.) Getting to Diamond in Modern
3.) Trying to max out my reward cards
4.) Trying to get to zero energy each day

These have been my main goals. I was successful in maxing out my reward cards in Commons and Rares only... I still need a lot more work for Epics and Legendaries... this is where I ended up:

I'll now have an opportunity to buy the remaining cards I need to max them out... but I think they're likely going to be too expensive for me to buy.

Thinking about it more... I'm glad the cost to unbind is at least X10 the power. By having a high cost, it puts a high value on Glint... if the reward cards were super cheap (like they were before being soulbound) then there's not a huge motivation to play... you can just buy the cards you need. With a high unbinding price, I'm personally super keen to get a lot of Glint each season just so I can max these cards out through effort and not price.

I don't want to spend any more actual money on Splinterlands for a while/ever.

My plan was to focus on legendaries first, then epics, but my guildie @tidepodoreos reminded me that I play in the Silver leagues in brawls... so I'll really have to spread the love around until I'm maxed out in Commons, Rares, Epics and Legendaries for Silver, and then focus on maxing out the Legendary and Epic cards.

So my new goals are as follows:

1.) Get as much Glint as possible.
2.) Max out all reward cards to the Silver league as quickly as possible.

This means:

Level 5 Commons
Level 4 Rares
Level 3 Epics
Level 2 Legendaries

The Glint Store prices have increased as well... further adding value to Glint (ie, you need more Glint to buy the same amount you bought before today)...

My previous goal was to try and get 375K Glint per season, so I could get 10 Batch 1 Legendary Draws (250K Glint) and 25 Batch 1 Epic Draws (125K Glint). Those same amount of draws will now cost 537,500 Glint (350K Batch 1 Legendary + 187,500 Batch 1 Epic). I'm not sure it's actually possible for me to get that much Glint in a season, so I'm going to have to make some interesting decisions... which always makes for good strategic gameplay... it's never dull in the Splinterlands.

I did not do as well as I would have liked in the Wild league. I just could not get to Champs II. I'm not even sure why, I just simply did not win enough. My Win/Loss Ratio was fine, and I played more games than I did last season, I just didn't get enough streaks to break through.

Very happy with my performance in Modern though. I'm still getting way more SPS in Modern, so if I can push into the Champs leagues then I'd be making a good amount of Glint and SPS and that'd be dreamy.

Rewards Report

194✨ 250550 Glint + ⭐1453.916 SPS
Season Rewards Claimed✨ 241921 Glint
Glint Spent✨ (625000) Glint

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.

So you can see I smashed my goal of 375K Glint, but I do think this will be around my upper limit for Glint per season, I just don't think I can earn too much more.

So... I have 461K Glint to spend... of course I'll have to hit the Legendary Draw first!

This was the result:

I obviously don't know anything about these cards... but I got two copies of 3 Legendaries, so that'll help towards my progress to Level 2 for Silver Brawls.

I do like having more 1 MANA card options though... so that's fun.

I now have 111K Glint remaining, so I think I'll buy as many Epic draws as I can. I can get 14 Epic card draws for 105K Glint...

I can so see myself getting tricked with these Debilitation cards. 4 Ranged for 2 MANA is so powerful... and I can totally see myself grabbing it, and then not realizing until the game is in play that I just played myself. I'm sure they'll be amazing in the Lose All Abilities Ruleset though.

That leaves me with 6K Glint left which I'll save for next season.

I do have two spare Drybone Raider Legendary cards, which I'll probably sell pretty much at cost to see if I can maybe wrangle one or two CL reward cards, but I'm not hopeful, surely everyone already has maxed out the Drybone Raider card - we'll see.

I'm a bit surprised this seasons NET SPS is a little more than half last season... Staking was half, License was half, Land just just a bit lower as were Ranked Rewards. I missed one Brawl so that seems to have made a massive difference. Looks like Liquidity Pools are pretty much dead now.

Even after all this time I truly do not understand the ebbs and flows of SPS in this game.

All in all I'm really excited about the new Reward cards and how they'll change the game. Also curious about the upcoming Rebellion mini-set and promo cards. I do think I'm personally close to the point where my brain can't handle so many options in 2 minutes... but I guess we'll see how elastic that guy is.

I don't think I'll see any of these new cards out in battles anytime soon... but I can't wait to level them up and play them myself.. hopefully I won't get too burned/electrocuted.

Hope you're all well and having fun. Thanks for reading!

I had my worse season for a while but still manage to get 15k glint. I put it down to being a bit tired and rushing through all my battles. I have to be sharp when trying to select cards for rule sets or just lose badly.

I will have to stay more focused now with these new cards to learn. I just got the 2 epic packs this season and doubled up on a night reaper.

I definitely suffer from not paying enough attention too. I think part of the problem is that sometimes it takes a little bit of time to find a match, so I'll jump onto another screen... and then by the time I jump back I've only got a few seconds to make all my decisions before I time out.

I'm definitely curious about the Wingbreak Ability and how it'll affect the game.

Which card do you want first?

The Olivia of the Brook card looks pretty great. A magic and melee attack for 6 MANA with the new Mimic ability... I'm curious to see if that'll be amazing or just never quite work out...

image.png

The Warborn Chieftan looks like a super solid tank against melee, ranged and magic.. but I'd want to be able to Protect and Tank Heal him.

image.png

... but the card I want first is this little dude:

image.png

Protect, Heal that shield attack for 4 AND you could put Weapons Training next to him to give him something else all for 4 MANA. Can't wait to throw this into a Little League game.

Yep - I am not sure if these new abilities are great or terrible!

OOh, I didn't think about the weapons training for the shield attack!

Yeah, I don't think I'll play the cards with Weary, Electrified, Incendiary, or Corrupted Healing Abilities except in the Back to Basics (lose all abilities) ruleset. I've got enough alternative cards to not have to resort to those cards.

I've seen this guy pop up against me a couple of times already:

In one game it got Exhausted at a key moment which helped me win... so yeah nah.
