# Happy Conclave Arcana to all - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 71 Report Card

@aussieninja

There is a bunch of great AI art in this post by @bravetofu. I have to say I'm a little surprised AI art is winning prizes in the Splinterlands Art Contests but I assume it has to be exceptional, which honestly all the ones in this post are.

Hi everyone!

So it's taken a few days but I've got myself a full maxed set of Conclave Arcana cards. I had to empty out my Liquidity Pools so I'm not sure I'll be able to participate in future sets for a while... but I'm good for the moment.

I didn't buy enough packs to get a full maxed set outright, I had to sell all the gold foil cards (I didn't find any Gold Arcane or Black Arcane cards) and any duplicates I got in order to make up the numbers.

My actual purchases were:

35 Legendary packs
100 Alchemy packs
650 Starter packs
2000 Standard packs

It was overwhelming initially, but I really loved having the different pack options. I was able to mine enough Aura with my one magic land plot to craft 700 Midnight potions, which was enough for my Alchemy and Legendary packs (135 x 5 = 675 cards potions) which was a total accident and not something I planned.

While I am still in the process of selling all my gold cards, I have kept the 3 Black Foil cards I managed to pull and am really excited about:

The seem to be currently valued at (although I don't know how realistic these prices are) $1,313 USD but I think I'll keep as collectibles. It was so exciting to see these cards flip over, especially knowing they're already at max level so there's no wheeling and dealing required.

I spent 11,694,218 DEC (valued at $11,459 USD although I had all that DEC and SPS before the prices went crazy) in total, and when I finished opening everything, peakmonsters said that my Conclave Arcana value was $13,405.46 USD worth (again, no idea how accurate that estimation was) but I at least feel like the RNG gods worked well in my favour.

Since I have the maxed set already, any DEC I make from the cards still being sold will go back into the LPs to build up for the next set.

I am a little worried that selling the gold cards was a mistake for the Conflicts. I kept all my Rebellion gold cards which really helped me get a maxed version in every single conflict. My current Conclave Arcana (excluding cards being sold) set is 450,704 CP, whereas my Rebellion set (by the end) was double that at 1,094,565 CP - I know Rebellion can be included in the Mage Wagons for Conflicts at 50%, so maybe that'll be enough.... or maybe no one can know until we see what PP numbers everyone else has.

As a refresher... Airdrop Conflicts were calculated at:

(CP x hours left in the Conflict)/100,000 = Chances

The hours left wasn't a huge issue because you'd easily transfer the wagons from one conflict to the next.... so what we really want to look at is the CP.
My CP as a maxed regular foil (with 3 BF cards) is 450,704 CP..... so 450,704 CP x 720 hours (in 30 days if I remember correctly) / 100,000 = 3,245 chances.

For the last Rebellion Conflict they said this:

so 3,425 chances divided by 425 is 8.. which is... not 11 (11 cards to max out a legendary).

What is confusing is in the Conclave Arcana announcement is that Rebellion cards can be included at 50%:

If Rebellion wasn't included, I think you could assume they'd use similar guaranteed card numbers as Rebellion, so maybe they'll up it by 50% to compensate?

50% of 425 is 212. 425+212 is 637.
3,425 chances divided by 637 is 5 guaranteed legendary cards... but if I add in my Rebellion 1,094,565 CP to make 1,545,269 CP (Rebellion plus Conclave Arcana) which gives me 1,545,269 x 720 / 100,000 = 11,125 chances... divided by 637 is 17 legendary cards on the last airdrop.

Which is great, if all my assumptions are correct, but I would kind of like to sell the gold Rebellion cards that I literally forgot to sell when the Rebellion conflicts finished, and now might be another good opportunity since Chaos Legion has rolled out of Modern.

Lots to think about. I swear I think way more about the economy of this game than the actual gameplay.

I COULD NOT GET TO CHAMPS III IN WILD!

I tried real hard, and you can see that I was literally one win off with my highest score, but thems the breaks I guess.
I was absolutely destroying in Modern as soon as Conclave Arcana dropped, and earning a ton of SPS and Glint:

... but then people figured out some killer combos and I was back to losing a lot... but it was a fun hour.

Glint season rewards will show in the season they are claimed.

Even though I didn't get into Champs III in Wild, I think my big wins in Modern helped keep my Glint rewards pretty normal...

797,537 is so much Glint!

This is my current progress towards a max set of Rebellion Reward cards from Splintercards:

Commons went up by 13% and Rares by 20% (I did the two batches) so I might be getting closed to finished in 3 seasons (6 weeks) so hopefully Splinterlands Inc needs to have a little rest after Conclave Arcana and doesn't have any changes planned for a while. At which point I'll have to decide if I want to spend the DEC to unlock and sell all the gold foil reward cards I have or just burn them...

Let's spend some Glint!

100 Rare Draws for 75000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

  • I got 2 gold foil cards in this batch, so that's exciting.

400 Common Draws for 60000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

  • I got 6 gold foil common cards out of the 400, nice!

30 Ultimate Chests for 135000 Glint with 30 Alchemy potions and 30 Legendary potions:

  • 2 Legendary cards!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • 4 Epic cards
  • 7 Rare cards
  • 43 Common cards
  • 61 Legendary potions
  • 20 Alchemy potions
  • 17,833 merits
  • 21 energy

This is an amazing haul, really excited about this.

I've got 541,005 Glint left, so I guess I'll go...

150 Major Chests for 150000 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions and 0 Legendary potions:

  • 182 cards including 2 Epic cards and 27 Rare cards
  • 15,866 merits
  • 154 Alchemy potions
  • 128 Legendary potions
  • 43 energy

Nearly 400K Glint left so let's go Batch 2 for Rare...

100 Rare Draws for 112,500 Glint with 0 Alchemy potions:

  • 4 gold foil Rare cards... killing it today!

278,505 Glint left for next season.

Ah, I do not understand (but also have not looked into it) what happened to rentals... this is a fraction of what it was a couple of seasons ago. (I haven't touched anything though, which is probably the problem).

I had claimed SPS to convert directly to DEC (that was fun, I've never done that before) for Conclave Arcana, but then forgot to claim it at the end of the season (I was too bitter about missing out on Champs III)... so a less than usual amount. Since I've emptied out my Liquidity Pools I imagine my SPS seasonal amounts might get very small...

Thanks for reading so many words!

Wow sounds like a major operation. I like the idea of saving up for card sets in liquidity pools. It might take me a while !LOL but it might be better idea to save up for something substantial rather than me messing around at lower levels

Yeah, it's a tricky one... I think it all comes down to what Splinterlands assets we think might appreciate in the long-term. Is is SPS? Or is it cards that earn conflict points/glint/sps wins, etc? I genuinely don't have a strong opinion either way so I try to diversify a little.

A full set! Man, I'm envious :)) I just bought 20 regular packs and 1 alchemy and legendary, been buying a few starter packs as well. Sloooowly building my collection, still wondering about the best strategy (and also if Arcanal was the best name they could find for the HE packs 🤣🤣🤣). Fun thing is with so many people without cards, I can actually win some games in gold I with level 1/2 summoners! Good luck in the battlefield, it will probably take some time to see you there again. ;)

Hahahahhahahahaha, arcanal.... so good.

As I mentioned I've been selling all my duplicates and all my gold foil cards, and the prices are (as expected) dropping dramatically as more packs get opened, so I'm constantly going in and revising my prices lower... all that is to say that I think slow and steady is easily the smartest approach.

Prices have changed so much that I think it could have been a viable strategy to open packs as soon as they were available, sell all the cards at top prices when FOMO was high, and then come back in a month or two to buy back the cards you need.

I'm glad the change in the meta is netting you some wins, that's awesome. I've already hit Champs III in Modern (with 11 days to go, which might be a record for me) so yeah, it might be a while before you humble me again.... but I look forward to it.

Yep, very likely! The advantages of having a decent collection already is that it feels a large cunck of player are starting from the bottom, so you are far ahead of competition.

Hope to see you on the battlefield soon! ;)
