# So close to a Top 10 Leaderboard spot! - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 84 Report Card

Hi everyone!

The past so so so many seasons (kabillion?) I've put huge effort into making sure my energy levels would touch 0 every day... but, ah, lately, my energy hits 50 all the time. It's 50 right now and I'm just not quite as motivated as I have been previously...

My terrible plan is still doing okay, but now I'm alternating between Wild and Modern, so this season 84 I was trying to get the 200K Glint from a Top 10 finish in Wild... and in season 85, I'll only try to get to Diamond I in Wild but as high as I can get in Modern to try and get a Top 10 finish on the leaderboard.

I'm still nowhere near winning anything in the weekly fortune draw, which is honestly fine and would truly be so exciting if I did...

Obviously my 0.092% chance of winning is going to need some exceptional blessings by the RNG gods, so I'm legitimately really happy to see this:

I'm personally way more motivated by this type of thing... I'm not a gambler, I'm a grinder (I know how that sounds), it looks like a pretty fun card:

At the lower levels I'm not sure this card is worth playing because of Stray Shot. Up until Level 8 you'd be doing 1 range damage and 1 magic damage, but suffering two damage on your own team.. that doesn't seem super great... even maxed out you're doing 3 damage and receiving 2... or...

... if my True Damage means that there's a +1 for void, shield or forcefield - then your team could potentially suffer 3 damage to one card while Luckiest Longshot is dealing out 1 + 2 damage on 2 different opponents. I'll need to see how it plays myself, but this card might not see a ton of action.

I mention last season that I won't be crafting any Land Cards or burning any current cards to cinder...

I technically could craft some Land cards, and I'm so so so excited they exist...

... but I don't think I'd personally get much value of out them until a Fire or Dragon ones are available... also, I'm slightly nervous about running out of resources for Mage Wagon (Magon?) Kits:

I can currently craft 5, and in 24 days I'll need to craft at least 9, which might be doable... but after that I'll be in struggletown.

I'm currently saving my SPS in liquid form to hopefully help purchase either/or/and/or/or/or resources to craft Mage Wagon Repair Kits and the Conflict cards I'll need when I don't get enough to max them out... which will be the next one (I'm guaranteed 9, but I'll need 11 to max).

Aura prices are dropping again... and I currently have so much extra aura:

I haven't been tracking it at all, but my gut says that supply for the Aura items is higher than demand:

This edition, I've only ever gotten the guaranteed cards (although I did get a single gold foil on one) which makes sense to me because so many accounts have so many more chances than I do...

... but this time I got 6 extra cards!

Absolutely amazing!

This did contribute slightly to my mismanagement of Mage Wagon Repair Kit resources... but it's a great problem to have! I was able to craft 21 repair kits before Loving the Moo hit my blockchain.

I've played the card a few times now... I haven't found any particularly sweet synergies yet, but I'm sure they're out there.

I got into the Top 10 in Wild a couple of days before the season ended... but I could just not get a score higher than 3800. Every time I tried to get higher, I'd lose a couple of games in a row and then take ages to try and claw my way back up. With a few hours to go I was sitting in 7th with 3800, but obviously there was a lot of activity in those last few hours and I slipped to 13, which means 150K instead of 200K. Still excited to make it at all, but I would have been thrilled to be in the Top 10.

I was extremely careful to not get lost in the game in Modern and accidentally cross into Champs III. I stopped with plenty of space in Diamond I.

I started this season with:

Glint and ended it with:

4,176,775

so that's a 591,170 gain between the Glint earnt for each win, plus the End of Season Glint plus the Leaderboard Glint... but I'm probably going to spend like 3 times that amount, haha.

Batch 1 of Legendary for 700,000 Glint (no potions):

I've now got 2 Level 3 cards AND I got the missing Nyasha Mbalika so that's exciting progress!

Next is 25 Epic Draws for 375,000 Glint (no potions):

No gold foils... but the collection is coming along. This is my Epic collection so far:

All but 1 have hit the halfway mark of Level 3.

Next is Batch 1 of 100 Rare Draws for 150,000 Glint (no potions):

Oooooooo, I got a gold foil card... this is my Rare collection now...

I doubt I'm ever going to level up the Gold Foil cards... but they do burn for 5,000 Glint (3 draws worth), so I'm happy to see them.

Next is Batch 1 of 400 Common Draws (300 each) for 120,000 Glint (no potions):

1 gold foil in that batch!!

Here is my updated collection:

All but 1 are at Level 7, so we are absolutely flying along.

My 4,176,775 is now 2,831,775 (I just used 1,345,000) Glint... so I'll only be able to keep up buying Batch 1 draws of all 4 rarities for 3 or so more seasons, but at the rate that Common and Rares and flying along, I might be able to focus and just buy Legendaries every 2nd season until they're maxed out.

It's still absolutely wild to me that quite a few of my opponents in Diamond already have maxed out reward cards. Wild.

I imagine I'll get between 5K and 9K of SPS per season, but as I mentioned earlier, that'll likely be all spent on Mage Wagon Repair Kit resources or missing Conflict cards in the near future. I've currently got 20K SPS liquid saved (~$130 USD) so hopefully I'll have what I need and will stake any leftovers.
