Hi everyone!

I've been very consistent in getting kicked out of the Top 10 on the leaderboard in the last couple of hours of the season. I ran out of energy at position 8 with a couple of hours to go, and finished at 11. In the current season 87, I'm in 5th place with 5 days to go, so we'll see how that goes. It makes a difference because the Glint reward drops from 200K to 150K when you're out of the Top 10, and then to 100K when you drop past 25th.

I didn't think that I would... because it seemed so inefficient, but I am loving the change of displaying the avatars at the start and end of the battle. I can't believe this totally worked on me, but I've now spent Glint and/or DEC in jazzing up my guy...

I haven't done anything with my Exemplar because that does feel a little overwhelming... I'll see if there's anything I'm interested in using it in before investing any time into it. I really would prefer to save my Glint for the Reward cards at this point.

For the last 8 years of playing this game, I've been staking my SPS which is why I'm still in the Top 100 Richlist despite not being rich or a list... but over the last 2 seasons I've not staked it and will be saving it because there is way too much available to spend it on.

Firstly, I did get the 9 Captain Frankie summoner cards that I was guaranteed, so I'll need to buy an extra two BCX to max it out...

At the levels that I'm playing, I can't afford to go into battle without a max level Archon/Summoner. So I'm looking at about $26 USD for that.

For the next conflict card, Elowen Sylphie, I'm looking at 8 guaranteed cards, so I'll need funds to purchase the remaining too.

Secondly, I am wilding underresourced for repairing the Wagon Kits that I'll need for Elowen Sylphie:

I'm going to need at least 8 Wagon Repair Kits, I can do 2 at the moment and am unlikely to be able to get the resources for another 6 in 19 days.

I tricked myself in the last season report into crafting some Flux Capacitors because the Aura return was so good - my concern that the demand would be short-lived turned out to be correct. I managed to sell one, and then supply absolutely overran demand...

I originally listed them at $0.688 which was the lowest price, and then repriced to $0.488 after a couple of days, and now we're looking at $0.33...

It's dropped over 50% in 17 days:

I should probably just stick to the Unbinding Scrolls to sell off my extra Aura (to hopefully pay for more resources for the Wagon Repair Kit out of the resulting DEC), they seem to be maintaining their Aura price somewhat (even though I'm sure demand for these should be on a sliding down scale, as the people willing to pay for these scrolls dwindles as players max out these cards).

Thirdly, the Escalation Conclave Arcana Mini Set will hit pre-sale in exactly one month (10th Feb) that will be sold in SPS rather than DEC, so I'll need some SPS for that. I'm not intending to max out that set like I did with Conclave Arcana, I legitimately can't afford to, but I'm sure there will be some must-have cards in there.

There will be 43 cards in the set (as mentioned here) which makes it halfish to Conclave Arcana's original 82 cards... so if Conclave Arcana cost around $12K to max out, then Escalation will cost around $6K... but I've got about $200 in SPS saved right now.

I think I'm not interested in spending my staked SPS, so yeah, I might not be participating much in Escalation. Hopefully this doesn't affect my Modern leaderboard efforts too much.

I've only just realized that my math around Cloveria Morth'lana was wrong. I thought the 46 Fortune Tickets would cost around $16.50 in DEC and Vouchers, but I missed this part...

At the moment I have enough DEC for 105 Fortune Tickets, but that's only 10 entries:

Which is $57 worth of DEC (92,000) plus $89.86 worth of vouchers (4,600 vouchers costs 143,438 DEC) equaling $146.86 USD. Still cheaper than the normal purchase costing 11,500 vouchers (which is 361,242 DEC ~ $226.31). I currently have 18,642 vouchers, so I can still do it... but even though it's an amazing card, the Conflict Archon's really need to be my priority... so I'm a bit undecided at the moment on what to do.

So yeah... made sure I was in Diamond 1 for Modern, and then tried to get as high on the Diamond leaderboard as I could in Wild... and came 11th... which is exactly what I came in the Modern league last season.

Alright, let's get into it...

I started the season with 2,298,730 Glint and now have 2,956,099 which means I collected 654,369 Glint in the season.

Let's get to work:

Batch 1 of Legendary for 700,000 Glint (no potions):

Managed to level up 4 cards in my collection:

I've now got 5 cards at Level 3 (out of 4).

Next is 25 Epic Draws for 375,000 Glint (no potions):

No gold foils in this batch...

Levelled up 4 cards with this batch, so now all but 1 card are sitting at Level 4 (out of 6).

Next is Batch 1 of 100 Rare Draws for 150,000 Glint (no potions):

2 gold foils in this batch, which is super amazing RNG-wise. (Normally you have 1 chance in 200 = 0.5%).

I managed to upgrade 6 cards this round, I've now got 5 cards at Level 6 (of 8).

Next is Batch 1 of 400 Common Draws (300 each) for 120,000 Glint (no potions):

Whoa! I got 5 gold foil cards out of this batch! Again, you normally have a 1 in 200 chance, so today has been an amazing day!!!

Upgraded 12 cards (including some of the gold foils) - I've now got 10 cards at Level 8 (of 10).

So I did try and sell that Epic Gold Foil card I got last season, since it was already unbound, but alas... another case of supply overpowering demand.

I had put it at the lowest price after my last report at $7.998 but the lowest price now is $5.983. Dang. I'm going to have to reprice it. I could also just burn it for 12,500 Glint. It's hard to price Glint so I don't know which is the better outcome.

I'll revisit this next season... see how this new price goes (my guess is... not well):

I spent 1,345,000 so my 2,956,099 Glint is now 1,611,099. I imagine I only have 2 more seasons of using my surplus Glint until I'm living Season to Season and just doing one or two rarities.

At an eyeball I'm averaging around 4K SPS per season... which is about $30 worth... so I think I can really only concentrate on the Conflict Archons... everything else is likely a distraction.

I genuinely think it's great that there is literally too much available to buy. It means there's almost a secondary meta game of working out how to make this economy work best for your game.
