# Broke into the Top 10 - Splinter Stats Ranked Rewards Season 87 Report Card

Is the Splinterlands art contest no longer running? The last art contest post was nearly 3 weeks ago. Luckily this Kulu Swimhunter from @deddywox is still absolutely fantastic. It's a card that I love because it is just so straightforward. It hits hard, that's it.

After complaining last season that I'm only destined to finish 11th on the leaderboard, I managed to hold onto the 6th spot. Extra 50K Glint to me, thank you very much!

I'm really liking my strategy on alternating between aiming for a leaderboard spot on Wild and Modern each season - it was tough getting enough energy to place in both at the same time.

First things first, Captain Frankie cards have kept their value around the $12 for a while. I should have been paying attention to the circulation numbers (currently 1251) but I imagine not many new BCX will appear even though it's likely available in packs now. I'll wait for a bit longer before pulling the trigger on the remaining 2 BCX that I need.

I repriced my remaining 9 Capacitor Flux items to $0.299 and didn't sell a single one, so I'm now repricing to $0.239 to see if I can offload them... but as I've said previously, the demand just isn't there for these items.

It was only 4 weeks ago that the lowest price was $0.69.

The demand for these items might change if Exemplars become involved in PVE Boss Fights, so we'll have to see if that eventuates.

Interesting that the value for Aura for the Wagon Repair Kits fluctuates so much both up and down, I guess it's the one resource that players actually definitely need. Everything else is just kind of a nice to have.

Comparing my Wagon Repair Kit resources from my last report 8 days ago:

to right now...

In 8 days I essentially got 16K Aura, 101K Wood, 19K Iron and -1K Iron.

There's no way I'm going to have enough resources to cover the 8+ wagons I'll need to repair in 11 days when Elowen Sylphie is released. I think I'll probably have to use my liquid SPS to pay the $5.28 wagon kits on the second hand market to make up the difference.

I think for a long time what I was producing ingame was able to cover the purchases I wanted to make... and that's just no longer the case - and I think the reason for that is in previous editions, buying enough packs to max out all the cards was enough to get maxed conflict cards, and now it's not. I imagine players have spent way more in Conclave Arcana than in previous editions to acquire Gold and Black Arcane cards.

Which, honestly, if that keeps the game solvent then I'm happy with it all.

I'm excited that buildings are coming to Land. From the sounds of it, it'll benefit players like me a bit more than huge land owners. I've just got 7 plots but they've all got pretty high output:

I imagine buildings will help me concentrate further...

Thinking about it more, I really don't think I'm going to be able to participate in the the Escalation Conclave Arcana Mini Set nor the Exclusive cards. I think I truly have to 100% focus on the Conflict Archons and maxing out the Conclave Arcana Reward cards.

Alright, here is my Glint total at the end of the season:

My last report card ended with 1,611,099 Glint. So ending this season with 2,204,099 means I got 593,000 Glint this season. A little less than the 654,369 I collected last season, which is weird because I thought I generally collected more Glint in my Modern seasons over my Wild seasons.

Anyway, let's get to spending!

Batch 1 of Legendary for 700,000 Glint (no potions):

Whoa! I don't remember getting 4 of the same card before. I like it!

Upgraded 3 cards to Level 3, obviously including Kaori Matsune. Here is my current Legendary collection:

I'm just one BCX away from a maxed out Sten Slatehelm! It's a great card, I already play it a ton.
Out of the 12 Legendary cards, I've got 8 at Level 3... that is great progress.
Weirdly I've only got 1 BCX of Sira, which is, luckily, not the most expensive of all the reward legendary cards on the 2nd hand market. I'll likely have to sell duplicates I get to buy up Sira BCX to max it out.

Next is 25 Epic Draws for 375,000 Glint (no potions):

1 Gold foil and it was literally the first one!

I have had absolutely no luck selling the gold foil Kazira Vaelstrik card. I had listed it as the cheapest card originally, but again, way more supply than demand... it's now the 5th cheapest...

I'll try to sell both the Epic Gold Foil cards I have... I could use the DEC.

Next is Batch 1 of 100 Rare Draws for 150,000 Glint (no potions):

No gold foils in this batch.

6 cards get an upgrade though! Here is my collection so far:

Of the 12 Rare Reward cards, I've got 11 at Level 6 (of 8). We're getting there.

Next is Batch 1 of 400 Common Draws (300 each) for 120,000 Glint (no potions):

By the law of averages I should have gotten 2 gold foil cards, but alas, I got 0 gold foil cards.

5 cards got upgraded, here is my common collection:

Of the 12 Common Reward cards, I've got 3 at Level 9 (of 10). Granted you need 100 BCX to go from Level 9 to max, so I imagine I'll be at Level 9 for most of them for months.

I spent 1,345,000 so my 2,204,099 Glint is now 888,893 (including about 30K Glint I've earnt in season 88). I suspect I've only got one season left of buying batch 1 for all 4 card rarities... then I'll have to concentrate on Legendary cards and work down.
