I'm pretty much doing this report at the last possible moment. The new season will start at 6am my time, so I'm pretty much whipping this out before I head on to bed.

I am honestly loving the Soulbound reward cards and the opportunity each daily loot chests provides. I'm still nowhere near fielding any cards in Gold or Diamond leagues, but I also don't feel like I'm all that far off. My highest combined card is a Level 4 Common... already... and honestly that's pretty exciting. Maybe a couple of months and I might start to see them really pop up in games... and because they're distributed pretty randomly, who knows what we might come across.

I'm also really excited about the news that players might have maximum requirements for some leagues... meaning if they're too powerful they get moved to a higher league. Modern has been unplayable for me because I didn't play it enough, fell to Unranked and would have to play in Novice... which honestly feels like a completely different game than Gold and Diamond because the cards play so differently. I know it sounds crazy, but you have to learn to play each league separately because you end up picking quite different decks in the different leagues.

227 cards in one season! Amazing! So fun!
I guess the DEC card values are truly gone now that we've have a complete season with soulbound cards. The credit value of my rewards are down because I got more cards than potions, which is amazing. Last season I got 52 cards total, which was still huge compared to previous seasons, but 227 is so much more exciting.

I'm so curious what will happen to the rental market once Land goes live. I'll definitely be pulling cards out to work the land. I'm pretty happy with the new Season length rental period, I've pretty not at all adjusted the prices on my cards for a really long time and certainly never adjusted during a single season to accommodate lower prices at the start and higher at the end... I'm totally fine with the 1 DEC fee for listing cards but of course I'll be curious to see what the Rental Report for future seasons looks like.

Still lots and lots to be excited about in the Splinterlands. I'm definitely playing more games than I was trying to push up those daily loot chests. Good work team!
