Epic lvl 1 Gem Meteor - Giveaway #3 [ENG/ESP]

Gem Meteor

So, this card… Scattershot: This Monster’s attack hit a random enemy target. Being honest, the first time I saw this effect I didn’t like it that much… at least I didn’t think it was that useful. But in this last couple of days I rented a level 5 Gem Meteor for my Gold League battles, after all, it has interesting stats plus a Piercing ability. On top of that it’s a Neutral card, so I could use it with my Earth, Death and Life Splinters, which were my decks of choice for this gameplay.

I like to rent many different cards to be more versatile, and much like a football match, I decided to give this new player a couple of minutes to test him. It gave me some interesting wins. It’s effect, as well as Opportunity, ignores the “Fog of War” rule, which is useful, but unlike Opportunity, it also ignores “Taunt”, so you can get rid of troublesome Monsters sooner. However, it’s attack is random, so sometimes could be like playing russian roulette (not sure if that analogy works…), maybe it will play in your favour, maybe it won’t.

So, how to use it…

Being at level 1, it only has 1 point of attack, so I wouldn’t use it unless you can raise it’s attack. Again, is a Neutral card, so it can blend with any Summoner. If you own/rent a Gem Meteor that is at least level 3, you can use it in a “Fog of War” rule, or if you expect a Monster with Taunt. That way you can cause serious damage to your opponent’s back line, and that is where, most of the times, a key Monster may be.

Battle #1: I wasn't expecting a level 3 Kron, here; I was expecting Mylor, that’s why there are none melee attackers from my side. Notice how Gem Meteor takes down two healers in the firsts two rounds.
Battle #2: Here’s a battle with Fog of War. As you can see only cards with Opportunity or Scattershot effects are able to attack other Monsters, besides the tank.

Gem Meteor

Entonces, esta carta... Scattershot: El ataque de este Monstruo golpea a un objetivo enemigo al azar. Siendo honesto, la primera vez que vi este efecto no me gustó mucho… al menos no pensé que fuera tan útil. Pero en estos últimos días alquilé un Gem Meteor de nivel 5 para mis batallas de la Liga Dorada, después de todo, tiene estadísticas interesantes además de una habilidad de Perforación. Además de eso, es una carta Neutral, por lo que podría usarla con mis Splinters de Tierra, Vida y Muerte, que fueron mis mazos elegidos para este juego.

Me gusta alquilar muchas cartas diferentes para ser más versátil, y al igual que un partido de fútbol, decidí darle a este nuevo jugador un par de minutos para probarlo. Me dio algunas victorias interesantes. Su efecto, al igual que el de Oportunidad, ignora la regla "Niebla de guerra", que es útil, pero a diferencia de la Oportunidad, también ignora "Taunt", por lo que puedes deshacerte de los Monstruos problemáticos antes. Sin embargo, su ataque es aleatorio, por lo que a veces podría ser como jugar a la ruleta rusa (no estoy seguro de si esa analogía funciona...), tal vez juegue a tu favor, tal vez no.

Entonces, cómo usarlo…

Al estar en el nivel 1, solo tiene 1 punto de ataque, por lo que no lo usaría a menos que puedas aumentar su ataque. Nuevamente, es una carta neutral, por lo que puede combinarse con cualquier invocador. Si tienes/alquilas un Gem Meteor que tiene al menos nivel 3, puedes usarlo en una regla de "Niebla de guerra", o si esperas un Monstruo con Taunt. De esa manera, puedes causar un daño serio a la línea de fondo de tu oponente, y ahí es donde, la mayoría de las veces, puede estar un Monstruo clave.

Si tenés alguna otra idea sobre cómo usar esta carta, sentite libre de comentar, para que todos podamos aprender. Esta carta, como Épica de nivel 1, aumentará tu C.P. por 100 puntos.

Mira estas batallas con Gem Meteor

Batalla #1: No esperaba un Kron de nivel 3, aquí; Estaba esperando a Mylor, es por eso que no hay atacantes cuerpo a cuerpo de mi lado. Observá cómo Gem Meteor derriba a dos sanadores en las dos primeras rondas.
Batalla #2: Aquí hay una batalla con Fog of War. Como puedes ver, solo las cartas con efectos de Oportunidad o Scattershot pueden atacar a otros Monstruos, además del tanque.
