Noble Queen Mycelia

A noble woman who also happens to be a slave driver was responsible in releasing a parasitic fungus coming from the depths of the earth. Consuming anything and everything in its path, the Queen which is no more than a collection of fungus at the time, corrupted the body of this noble woman taking on her form. Turning everything in her path into fungal rot Queen Mycelia will stop at nothing until she conquers everything and turns everyone into her slaves.

This is a reimagination of the noble woman moments before she was completely corrupted by Queen Mycelia .

Queen Mycelia

This drawing was inspired by queen mycelia, a legendary earth unit monster which at max level possesses 4 different abilities for only 4 mana cost. Her abilities include protect which grants +2 armor to all friendly units. Amplify which increases damage done by magic reflect, fire and thorns by an additional . She can also heal backline friendly monsters thru Triage. And lastly Rust which provides a debuff to all enemy monsters reducing their armor by 2.

I'm only using an iPad for my drawings. And the app I used is called procreate. I start off by drawing a circle, then slicing them into sections which are my guidelines to help position facial features.

I would then start added facial features like the eyes nose and mouth.

Then on to the hair and and other features.

I move on to completing the pencil sketch.

And right I after create solid outlines so that later I could erase the pencil sketches. This pen outlines will be part of the final drawings .

Now comes the coloring part starting off with the red parasitic fungus in the bottom half of the illustration.

Adding more visual colors for depth

And moving on to skin coloring using different shades of gray.

Next are the eyes and the lips.

Then coloring the hair as well

Almost done.

Just adding a few more details.

And we're done.
