Splinterlands - Staking SPS for a better financial future

Splinterlands, Splinterlands, Splinterlands... what more is it to say about this amazing play2earn game on the Hive blockchain? Well, maybe that I should have taken more solid profits in the 2021 bull run, but that was another lesson for me to learn. And as I have understood the mistakes of the past, but also the opportunities of accumulating as much as possible during bear market, I am simply staking SPS as much as I can. The price is quite low at the moment as $SPS is hovering around $0.016, but its potential with the launch of Land and with maybe a bull run in the making, could properly to highs that it deserves. But at the moment I am happing at surpassing goal after goal in the form of specific SPS staked and in this post I will exemplify another staking operation.

SPS Revenue Streams

The SPS that I earn comes from different sources, from which the most important are:

• Daily battles and rewards
• Season End rewards
• Brawl participation
• SPS staking
• Vouchers trading for SPS
• And probably I missed few others along the way, but the above should be the most relevant in my case

SPS Wallet

I've chosen to do this staking as mu current balance stands at 109,959.758 SPS and with the gathered SPS I will be able to surpass the 110k threshold. And from there I can look up towards the next milestones which is 120k SPS staked. Step by step during this bearish market I keep on accumulating and I hope that when it will turn around and the bull market will hit, I will be around 200k SPS staked. I have in mind a price point that might make me to start selling some, which for me it is at $0.10. But who know how things will evolve, maybe more SPS will burn and that price could be even bigger. But for now, I think I have set myself a decent price that is not out of this world.

SPS Staking

While my balance of staked SPS stands at 109,959.758, from the above source I gathered 208.387 liquid tokens. I will be staking them all which should push my SPS holding above 110,000 which is a nice sum to have. With this move also my rewards will be boosted from x10.44 to x10.45. This happens because I am in the Gold League, but I have delegated SPS to other 3 accounts. Thus, I believe that for the time being, having a multiply factor over x10 is the sweet spot to maximize the earnings.

Besides the boosts in the battle rewards, the SPS staking on its own provides some nice returns in the form of 15.08% APR at the moment. Applying this to my current SPS staked in the amount of 110,171.599 SPS, that would translate in an impressive yield of 16,613.877 SPS. And considering the compound effect of each harvest and stake, it could push it much higher.

This was my staking process celebrating surpassing the 110k SPS threshold, which provides motivation to keep on going and enjoy this great play2earn game. I know that it is not easy to keep on going during bearish market, but I believe that in such times the opportunity to make it big lies in. Thus, my journey in Splinterlands will continue as until now and hopefully when the market will turn around, will catch me in a good position to reap significant spoils.
