Coaster inspired by Scarred Llama Maged (Eng - Esp)
Hello creative friends and talented artisans, I wish you are enjoying good health and have a great week together with your loved ones, in this occasion I share the elaboration of a coaster inspired by SCARRED LLAMA MAGE, a character of the Splinterlands cards, I like it for its turquoise and fuchsia colors, they are tender and beautiful.
Hola amigos creativos y y talentosos artesanos, deseo se encuentren disfrutando de buena salud y tengan una excelente semana en unión de sus seres queridos, en estaocasión comparto la elaboracción deun posavasos inspirado en SCARRED LLAMA MAGE, un personaje de las las cartas de Splinterlands, me gusta por sus colores turquesa y fucsia, son tiernos y hermosos.

Los materiales usados fueron:
Tela dacrón (fucsia)

Elaboration
The first step was to make the pattern, then I marked and cut the pieces; two in fuchsia (front and back) and one in turquoise.

El primer paso fue hacer el patrón, luego marqué y corté las piezas; dos en color fucsia (delantero y posterior) una en color turquesa.
To make the tassels, I joined five strands of yarn, tied at the top and cut, each measuring approximately three (3) centimeters.
Para hacer las borlas, uní cinco hilos de estambre, amarré en la parte superior y corté, cada una mide aproximadamente tres(3) centímetros.
Once the tassels were assembled, I faced the back of the center piece with the right side of the front piece, pinned and sewed the inner and outer contour with a straight stitch.
Armadas las borlas, enfrenté revés de la pieza central con derecho del delantero, sujeté con alfileres y cosí el contorno interno y externo con puntada recta.
Then I pinned the tassels to the edges of the front piece, trying as much as possible to have the tassel knot facing outwards so as not to have any hindrances when sewing.
Luego con los alfileres sujeté las borlas en los bordes de la pieza delantera, tratando en lo posible que el nudo de las borlas quede hacia afuera para no tener trabas al momento de coser.
To finish I faced the right side, front and back of the coaster, pinned and sewed with straight stitch leaving an opening for turning, I also made picks in the curved parts, which helps to keep the shape of the mold; I turned the piece, closed the opening with hidden stitch and so is finished a nice coaster, in simple steps.
Para finalizar enfrenté por el derecho, delantero y posterior del posavasos, sujeté con alfileres y cosí con puntada recta dejando una abertura para voltear,además hice piquetes en las partes curvas,lo cual ayuda a mantener la forma del molde; volteé la pieza, cerré la abertura con puntada escondida y así está terminado un lindo posavasos, en sencillos pasos.
I liked the result, the tassels give it a great style, it is my first coaster with tassels and it looks great; the color combination is beautiful and special for my table, to give more support to the coaster you can add a layer of thin plastic or waterproof fabric in the middle of the front and back, so when spilled liquids stay on the coaster and do not stain the table.
El resultado me gustó, las borlas le dan un gran estilo, es mi primer posavasos con borlas y se ve genial; la combinación de colores es hermosa y especial para mi mesa, para darle mayor soporte al posavasos se puede agregar una capa de plástico delgado o tela impermeable en el medio de la parte delantera y posterior, así al derramarse los líquidos se mantienen en el posavasos y no manchan la mesa.
