Greetings creative friends around the world I wish you an excellent day and that the new month that begins comes loaded with great blessings, May is the month of flowers and in which many countries celebrate Mother's Day, the most beautiful flower in every home; while the days advance, which by the way go very fast in my opinion, I continue with sewing practices and new projects related to gift bags and intimate apparel for mothers, this time I share the development of a treasure bag inspired by Serpentine Mystic, a rarity category dragon belonging to the Splinterlands set of game cards.
This bag is ideal for gifts for mom or when we want to give a gift to a special someone, it can also be used for cotillions and store makeup products and keep them organized in the portfolio, the bag is reversible, on one side light gold and the other golden bronze.
Saludos amigos creativos en todo el mundo les deseo un excelente día y que el nuevo mes que inicia venga cargado de grandes bendiciones, Mayo es el mes de las flores y en el cual muchos países celebran el día de las madres, la flor más hermosa de cada hogar; mientras los días avanzan, que por cierto van muy rápido a mi parecer, continuo con las prácticas de costura y nuevos proyectos relacionados con bolsas de regalo y ropa íntima para las madres, en esta ocasión comparto la elaboración de una bolsa del tesoro inspirada en Serpentine Mystic, un dragón de categoría rareza perteneciente al grupo de cartas del juego Splinterlands.
Esta bolsa es ideal para los obsequios de mamá o cuando queremos dar un regalo a un ser especial, también se puede usar para cotillones y guardar los productos de maquillaje y mantenerlos organizado en la cartera, la bolsa es reversible, por un lado dorado claro y el otro bronce dorado.

This project is simple to make; I started by marking two rectangles of 20 * 25 centimeters on both fabrics, from the bottom I left a margin of 6 centimeters and drew a line of 1, 5 centimeters that will be the tunnel to pass the mouse tail and close the bag.

Este proyecto es sencillo de elaborar; inicié marcando dos rectángulos de 20 * 25 centímetros en ambas telas, desde la la parte inferior dejé un margen de 6 centímetros y tracé una línea de 1, 5 centímetros que serán el túnel para pasar la cola de ratón y cerrar la bolsa.
I faced the right side and sewed with a straight stitch, using the marking line as a guide, I also left the side openings for the drawstring, removed the excess fabric and turned one side of the bag right side out.
Enfrenté por el derecho y cosí con puntada recta, usando como guía la línea de marcado, dejé también las aberturas laterales el cordón, retiré el exceso de tela y volteé por el derecho una de las caras de la bolsa.
To form the reversible bag I faced right sides together, pinned and machine stitched at the top leaving an opening of approximately seven (7) centimeters for turning.
Para formar la bolsa reversible enfrenté los derechos, sujeté con alfileres y cosí a pie de máquina por la parte superior dejando una abertura de aproximadamente siete (7) centímetros para voltear
Once the piece was flipped over, I repaired and closed the opening, then I sewed two lines making the side holes coincide, this way the tunnel is ready to place the mouse tail tape.
Volteada la pieza repisé y cerré la abertura, luego cosí dos líneas haciendo coincidir los orificios laterales, de esta forma está listo el túnel para colocar la cinta cola de ratón.
With the help of a plastic needle I passed the mouse tail ribbon through the tunnel, starting at one end and going around the entire contour of the bag, then join the ends of the ribbon and tie a knot, in the same way I placed the ribbon at the other end, with these simple steps the reversible gift bag inspired by Serpentine Mystic is finished.
Con ayuda de una aguja plástica pasé la cinta cola de ratón por el túnel, iniciando en un extremo y rodeando todo el contorno de la bolsa, luego se unen las puntas de la cinta y se hace un nudo, de la misma forma coloqué la cinta del otro extremo, con estos sencillos pasos está terminada la bolsa de regalo reversible inspirada en Serpentine Mystic.
