Hello friends from the @splinterlands community, I come to share with you my entry to the contest number 266 with my version of LICHEN BEAST, an earth element card, I chose this card because I like the idea of an animal that protects the forest so I wanted to make my own version using the original letter as a reference, below I will show you the process of creating my drawing, I hope you like it.

• Hola amigos de la comunidad de @splinterlands vengo a compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso numero 266 con mi versión de LICHEN BEAST una carta de elemento tierra, escogí esta carta porque me gusta la idea de un animal protector del bosque así que quise hacer mi propia versión usando como referencia la carta original, a continuación les mostrare el proceso de elaboración de mi dibujo espero les guste.

Process

STEP 1: Sketch and lineart, this time I wanted to do something new, I started drawing the sketch of my version but then I added more details to the drawing, so I thought that then making a lineart on another layer would not give the same effect in this drawing, so I immediately made all the details on this layer, cleaning up the lines to have a better result.

• PASO 1 : Boceto y lineart , esta vez quise hacer algo nuevo , empecé dibujando el boceto de mi versión pero luego fui agregando mas detalles al dibujo , entonces pensé que luego hacer un lineart en otra capa no daría el mismo efecto en este dibujo, así que inmediatamente hice todos los detalles en esta capa limpiando las líneas para tener un mejor resultado.

STEP 2: Color, then in another layer add the base colors of the drawing using those of the letter as a reference, I wanted to make the arms and legs a brown color to refer to the wood and the rest of the body green simulating the leaves.

• PASO 2 : Color, luego en otra capa agregue los colores bases del dibujo usando como referencia los de la carta, quise hacer que los brazos y piernas llevaran un color marrón para hacer referencia a la madera y el resto del cuerpo verde simulando las hojas.

I wanted to add more detail by giving shadows to the drawing to give more volume to the drawing, little by little I was drawing the shadows in each part of the body, and then adding more details to the drawing.

• Quise agregar mas detalle dando sombras al dibujo para darle mas volumen al dibujo, poco a poco fui dibujando las sombras en cada parte del cuerpo, para luego ir agregando mas detalles al dibujo.

I used a darker tone so that the volume could be seen better and although it was a little dark, now I had to give it a little light so that the drawing would be better finished.

• Use un tono mas oscuro para que el volumen se viera mejor y aunque quedo un poco oscuro ahora tenía que dar un poco de luz para que el dibujo quedara mejor terminado.

Add lines of light on the wood to give a better effect and finish this work of my version of LICHEN BEAST, I really liked the result since I imagined this version as a protective spirit that uses what surrounds it to take the shape of the animal you want, I hope you like my work and see you in a next post.

• Agregue líneas de luz en la madera para dar un mejor efecto y dar por terminado este trabajo de mi versión de LICHEN BEAST , me gusto mucho el resultado ya que me imagine esta versión como un espíritu protector que usa lo que lo rodea para tomar forma del animal que desea , espero les guste mi trabajo y nos leemos en un próximo post.
