Hello friends of the @splinterlands community, I come to share with you my entry to the contest number 270 with my version of TORRENT FIEND, a water element card, I really liked the concept of the art of the card, a transparent aquatic being that has incredible abilities, So I wanted to give it my personal touch and make my own version without going too far from the idea of the conceptual art of the card. I hope you like it as much as I do. Below I will show you the steps I took.

• Hola amigos de la comunidad de @splinterlands vengo a compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso numero 270 con mi versión de TORRENT FIEND una carta de elemento agua , el concepto del arte de la carta me gusto mucho un ser acuático transparente que posee habilidades increíbles, así que quise darle mi toque personal y hacer mi propia versión sin salirme tanto de la idea del arte conceptual de la carta, espero les guste tanto como a mi, a continuación les mostrare los pasos que realice.

Process

STEP 1: Sketch and lineart, in this layer I sketch the drawing taking the art of the card as a reference, so I made my own version of the character, I normally make the sketch in red and then clean the lines to turn them to black and allow me to start applying the base colors.

• PASO 1 : Boceto y lineart , en esta capa realice el boceto del dibujo tomando como referencia el arte de la carta , así que hice mi propia versión del personaje, normalmente realizo el boceto en color rojo y luego limpio las líneas para pasarlas a color negro y que me permita empezar a aplicar los colores base.

Step 2: Add the base colors of each part of the body, even though I couldn't add so much blue because I wanted to create the effect of transparency in the character, at first I focused mostly on the skeleton, giving it a little more detail, too. change the color of the lines to a white tone as it would create a different effect supporting transparency.

• Paso 2 : Agregue los colores base de cada parte del cuerpo aun así no podía agregar tanto color azul porque queria crear el efecto de transparencia en el personaje, en un principio me enfoque mas que todo en el esqueleto dándole un poco mas de detalle, también cambie el color de las líneas aun tono blanco ya que crearía un efecto diferente apoyando la transparencia.

Then I added more volume although it was not noticeable since I was working with a white background so I decided to make a dark background and then apply the most important step to achieve the effect I wanted.

• Luego fui agregando mas volumen aunque no se notara ya que estaba trabajando con un fondo blanco así que decidí hacer un fondo oscuro para luego aplicar el paso mas importante para lograr el efecto que queria.

I added details to the drawing such as light effects on the orange internal organs. I also made the red veins that appear in the original art that create a characteristic in the character. I also tried to give a little more of the transparency effect by applying some color. light blue on the sides.

• Fui agregando detalles al dibujo como efectos de luz en los órganos internos de color naranja además hice las venas rojas que aparecen en el arte original que crean un característica en el personaje, además trate de dar un poco mas el efecto de transparencia aplicando algo de color azul claro en los costados.

The result of the drawing is this with a background that highlights all the details, it was a challenge to make this character trying to make it look transparent I think I succeeded although I was able to improve it, I made my version a little more aggressive by adding the most important details that characterize the character of the letter, I hope you like my work and see you in a future post.

• El resultado del dibujo es este con un fondo que hace resaltar todos los detalles, fui un desafío realizar este personaje tratando de hace que se viera transparente creo que lo logre aunque pude mejorarlo, mi versión la hice un poco mas agresiva agregando los detalles mas importantes que caracterizan al personaje de la carta, espero les guste mi trabajo y nos leemos en un próximo post.
