Hello friends from the @splinterlands community, I come to share with you my entry to the contest number 271 with my version of TWO GUN PETE, a water element card considered legendary, it is a card with an art of a pirate with two weapons, I liked the idea so I wanted to make my own slightly cartoonish version, I hope you like the steps I follow below.

• Hola amigos de la comunidad de @splinterlands vengo a compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso numero 271 con mi versión de TWO GUN PETE una carta de elemento agua considerada como legendaria es una carta con un arte de un pirata con dos armas, me gusto la idea así que quise hacer mi propia versión un poco caricaturesca, espero les guste a continuación los pasos que realice.

PROCESS

STEP 1: Sketch and lineart, in the first layer I made the sketch based on the art of the card but giving it my own version, I made my version of a pirate with two weapons in a different pose, I also added his little rodent friend on his shoulder a detail that characterizes two gun pete, after having the sketch I cleaned the lines of the drawing and then went on to give the other details.

• PASO 1 : Boceto y lineart , en la primera capa realice el boceto basándome en el arte de la carta pero dándole mi propia versión, hice mi versión de un pirata con dos armas en una pose diferente , también agregue a su amiguito roedor en su hombro un detalle que caracteriza a two gun pete, luego de tener el boceto limpie las líneas del dibujo para luego pasar a dar los demás detalles.

STEP 2: color, in another layer apply the base color to the drawing using the tones on the card so as not to go out of character, I must mention that I am not good at drawing clothes or painting them, even so I continued to apply the other details to the drawing.

• PASO 2 : color , en otra capa aplique el color base al dibujo usando los tonos de la carta para no salirme del personaje, debo mencionar que no soy bueno dibujando ropa ni pintándola aun así proseguí a aplicar los demás detalles al dibujo.

I applied shadows to the character to give a darker tone to the suit, and then applied more details that were missing such as light, I also needed a background to give a better result to the character.

• Aplique sombras al personaje para dar un tono mas oscuro al traje, para luego aplicar mas detalles que faltaban como la luz, también me faltaba un fondo para dar un mejor resultado al personaje.

Finally, I added a slightly dull background to highlight the character. I did not want to add a lot of light since it would look a little exaggerated, although I am not an expert in drawing clothes to be an attempt of many to come. • Para finalizar agregue un fondo un poco apagado para resaltar al personaje no quise agregar mucha luz ya que se vería un poco exagerado aunque no soy experto dibujando ropa para ser un intento de muchos que vendrán me gusto, espero les guste mi trabajo tanto como a mi, muchas gracias nos leemos en un próximo post.
