Hello friends from the @splinterlands community, I come to share with you my entry to the contest number 273 with my version of CRUSTACEAN KING, a water element card with an art of a crustacean according to its history. They are species that acquired a lot of intelligence, so with that fact, I wanted to make my own slightly humanoid version and this was the result, I hope you like it and then I will show you the steps I took.

• Hola amigos de la comunidad de @splinterlands vengo a compartir con ustedes mi entrada al concurso numero 273 con mi versión de CRUSTACEAN KING una carta de elemento agua con un arte de un crustáceo según su historia son especies que adquirieron mucha inteligencia , así que con ese dato quise hacer mi propia versión un poco humanoide y este fue el resultado , espero les guste y a continuacion les mostrare los pasos que realice.

PROCESS

STEP 1: Sketch and lineart, in the first layer I sketched the drawing using the game card as a reference, after that I made the idea of my drawing in a quick sketch and then added characteristics of the characters such as the tentacles of their mouth and its huge pincers, I came up with the idea of making it a little humanoid to give it a different appearance, after that I applied the lineart correcting some lines that I didn't like until giving the following result.

• PASO 1 : Boceto y lineart , en la primera capa realice el boceto del dibujo usando como referencia la carta del juego, luego de eso hice la idea de mi dibujo en boceto rápido para luego ir agregando características del personajes como los tentáculos de su boca y sus enormes pinzas, se me ocurrió la idea de hacerlo un poco humanoide para darle un aspecto diferente, luego de eso aplique el lineart corrigiendo algunas líneas que no me gustaban hasta dar el siguiente resultado.

STEP 2: color, apply the base color of the drawing on another layer using the base tones of the card to refer to the character CRUSTACEAN KING, once the base colors were ready, I continued to apply the other details to the drawing.

• PASO 2 : color , aplique el color base del dibujo en otra capa usando los tonos base de la carta para hacer referencia al personaje CRUSTACEAN KING , una vez listo los colores base proseguí a aplicar los demás detalles al dibujo.

I applied a little light with a lighter tone on the character, then I wanted to apply a background to better see the result of the character, to have a relationship with the character I made a dark blue background referring to the sea.

• Aplique un poco de luz con un tono mas claro en el personaje, luego quise aplicar un fondo para ver mejor el resultado del personaje, para tener relación con el personaje hice un fondo azul oscuro haciendo referencia al mar.

This was the result of the drawing with the background, the character CRUSTACEAN KING with my humanoid version, I really liked the result since it looks different but maintains the characteristics that define it, I hope you like the result and we will see you in a future post.

• Este fue el resultado del dibujo con el fondo, el personaje CRUSTACEAN KING con mi versión humanoide , me gusto mucho el resultado ya que se ve diferente pero mantiene las características que lo definen, espero les guste el resultado y nos leemos en un próximo post.
