I was reluctant to join any guild, since I need to be self-motivated in order to complete my current projects and was concerned that I might get too distracted. Then @steemitromney invited me. I didn't know anything about guilds, so I had a few questions. It didn't seem like too heavy of a commitment, so I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. Shield of Glory is awesome and I honestly appreciate you guys so much. Especially the level of communication and camaraderie. It takes the game to a whole other level. I try to limit my time spent on Splinterlands in order to get work done, but when I do drop in on the Discord server, the conversation is always entertaining and informative. At one point I got an offer from a higher level guild, which I turned down, but they left the offer on the table. It was around the time when @steemitromney traded up for a more active one, and I was curious about the pros and cons, so I asked him about it. He said yeah, the rewards were better, but the sense of community just wasn't there in the same way. I decided I felt good about my decision to stick with S.O.G. And now look where we are! Happy and proud to be part of this guild.

I have very similar feeling about our guild. And look what we have accomplished now.
