# Highest Rating Yet - Splinter Stats Season 61 Report Card

avatar

@benolds

After hitting Silver III last season but not pushing much further, I decided to play more consistently this season, trying to complete daily quests and see how high I could get my rating without renting more powerful cards.

I was curious whether I could earn more from playing my owned cards this season (and renting some additional power) compared to renting out my cards last season. Short answer: yes!

Last season I made 1981 DEC by renting, and 429 DEC from ranked battle rewards. This season I made only 997 DEC from renting but I made 1978 DEC from ranked battle rewards. And that doesn't include all the extra loot chests.

I'm pretty happy with reaching 1924 rating this season! This is my first time being high enough for Gold III, although I didn't consider it worthwhile to rent the additional 85000 power to climb from Silver III to Gold III. My Win/Loss wasn't too bad either, although it varied each day depending on which quest I was trying to complete.

Rewards were good this season. The highlight was my first Legendary pull: Harklaw! I also pulled a Djinn Renova, a Djinn Chwala, and a Venari Wavesmith. Renting power throughout the season using the new bid system seems to be worth it, although I wasn't able to play and complete my quests every day.

Last season I rented out almost all of my cards, but this season I decided to keep most of them available for playing. I only rented out some of my more profitable cards (my extra Djinn Oshannus, for example) and used the proceeds to rent out cheaper power. This seems to be the most cost effective way to gain power in this game at the moment.

I maximized my earnings this season by buying extra SPS and using a liquidity pool to double my DEC holdings. The ROI here is just too high to ignore for now. Not included in the snapshot: extra earnings from sold vouchers.

This was a fun season, and I'm definitely starting to get a feel for the game. Curious to see how everything evolves when Chaos drops, but for now I'm going to keep similar goals for next season.
