"He's a bit too smug!" complain Monster's Who All Want to Kill Pelacor Arbalest First.

Reports suggest the DEC price of Snipe ability cards went through the roof this week after the entire Splinterlands community took a dislike to a new Chaos Legion Monster.
"I just don't like the smug head on him." was the line from both monsters and players about Pelacor Arbalest, who is the new must have card in the Life Splinter.
Arbalest has a double strike ranged attack which was unheard of before. Even though he has low health, Arbalest packs quite the punch. When he is combined with the summoner General Sloan then his attack is even more dangerous.
This has got the backs up of both monsters and players. Nobody likes a double strike monster at the best of times, let alone a monster as smug looking as Pelacor Arbalest.
Reports also suggest that even the monsters in the Life Splinter are finding it hard to get on with the new addition.

"He's after ruining my career in this game anyway." claimed Peacebringer who has been the stalwarth for years in the Life Splinter. Peacebringer who is also a ranged attack monster claims that Arbalest is better looking and has a more powerful attack deeming him obsolete.
"It's hard for him to swallow." claimed the Divine Healer"
"Peacebringer has been holding up this Life Splinter for years, and now nobody is picking him anymore." I wouldn't be surprised if Peacebringer puts a price on his head and gets him whacked.

The other ranged attack monsters in Life Splinter are not happy either but on the brightside compared to the other Splinter groups, they have not really had any more dangerous additions from the Chaos Legion so they can put up with one.
But players and monsters alike really want to kill Pelacor Arbalest first and foremost. More due to his smug head than his actually double strike.

"I just love killing him", I don't mind the double strikes. I can handle them, it's just looking at that smugness for the entire game is not an option so the players are picking me to kill him off fast claimed Centaur who uses his snipe ability to knock him off quickly.

On saying that the Pelacor Arbalest does have his fan club.
He is after taking the heat off me so I like him claimed the cat Feral Spirit but he needs to change his artwork or the whole crypto universe will be gunning for him.

He saved my life once claimed the Silver Shield Knight.
I was pounced upon by two Venari's and he came to the rescue so I wrote a recommendation to have him including in the Chaos Legion for his amazing Double Strike Range attack

Despite the venom and boil shown to the young Pelacor, he is surprisingly effective and has improved the Life Splinter as a group.

Pelacor Arbalest declined to comment on this report and told us to get off his land before we received two crossbow arrows to the rear end.
