Midweek Report : Splinterlands put off Land 1.5 until after Nuclear War , hopefully!
News filtered out that Land 1.5 was once again delayed until after Thanksgiving as the code just was not ready and their to do list was just growing and growing. There was much disappointment in the community as stalwarts rubbed their knees in anticipation and double checked their complicated excel sheets on the amount of cards they were going to attribute to Land 1.5. Some fanatics had really sold real physical land to buy plots and tracts of the digital land which went on sale what seems to be years ago now when the internet was first set up. Comic book stores , dungeon & dragons fanatics dens across the world were wrecked today after the sudden announcement meant they would have to wait another month before Land 1.5 to be released.
"I don't know what it is " claimed one Splinterlands fan
"But the fact it is delayed now , I am even more annoyed with the delay more than anything."
"I don't even own a plot but I am still pissed off," claimed the Splinterlands bronze destroyer who has made his way from novice to Bronze III just the other day.

Rumour has it that dev's are finding Land 1.5 so complicated that they are hoping for World War III to break out in a bid to avoid the launch.
"In a way if nuclear winter does break out and we have no electricity which means no internet which of course means no Splinterlands or Discord Mav Chat, which would be nice. Pressure off" claimed one dev.
"The moaning and whining that goes on in there about Land 1.5, if would create a mini nuclear bomb in that chatroom then the world would be a better place but I am day dreaming now but we do actually hope Iran invade Israel so that we can delay Land until Christmas at the earliest"
"Some people think land 1.5 will be the making of us but when the DRIP network started fiddling with land and grain and cats and pigs then the shit hit the fan and now DRIP is worthless" "We gotta be careful."
So when will Land 1.5 be released?
"Well if we don't have World War 3, a Trump reelection and the downfall of civil society as we know it and if we don't run into any problems we are looking at December hopefully.....

After hearing from the devs we decided to ask the players but the members of Mav chat was unavailable to comment as they were arguing whether the sky was blue.
