Pain in the Arse Karen Moans About the New ECR System on Splinterlands.

"They are ruining Splinterlands" claimed Karen as she rolled up her sleeves to prepare to type a strongly worded comment on Hive. Karen's husband lay on the couch and replied with a nod and an eyebrow raise. The minimum reply needed for a complaint about something Splinterlandy. He wouldn't mind but he thought Karen had sold her cards during the good times and the car sitting in the driveway was the result of the sale of a gold foil Prince Julian.

"I can only play 50 battles at the most and then I have to pay to buy more." she sputtered.
Karen's husband liked royaling her up even more.

"I thought you don't do battles anymore because of all those bots?"

"I don't but I like to have the choice how many battles I can partake in!

How many battles is the most you can partake in.

Only 50. It's an outrage.

Philip was an experienced Splinterlands player in his own right.

"Sure 50 is more than enough. Sure anymore than that and you would be playing for over 4 hours per day." he said to Karen awaiting her wrath.

"Well even if 50 battles would take a few hours to get through, that's not the point."

"We have little Jimmy to tend to now Karen. Gone are the days of the Splinterlands all nighters. Those were the days eh"

They both looked over at little Jimmy who was stuck in mindcraft.

"The point is I own my cards and I want to play as many battles as I so wish."

Karen kept typing while Philip mustered up his next bombshell.

"Isn't the whole point of capping the ECR is to stop the evil bot farmers from taking all the SPS rewards and reward cards?"

"Eeer well yes but it shouldn't have to affect the human players who contribute to the platform."

So how would you fix the problem? The bots need to be there so you have someone to battle all the time."

I'm not sure Philip , now shut up, I am trying to maintain my anger level so I can write a decent rebuttal of this shocking announcement.

Yeah actually I see that alot. Players saying they don't play battles anymore but yet their rating tells otherwise.

That's because the bastards are all botting while relaxing by the pool, Meanwhile I'm looking at your fat ass on the couch while I'm stressing out with 10 seconds to go deciding whether to go with the Grund or the Mycelic Infantry.

To top it all off there are 3 rulesets introduced so it is like a game of fastest fingers first in Who Wants to Be A Millionaire

Splinterlands are on fire at the moment releasing so much stuff. You have these new little additions with ECR, rulesets then you have the whole land expansion and Tower Defence. You also have Genesis League about to launch.
Since they trimmed the fat a few months ago they are flat to the mat.
The developers must be looking over their shoulder churning out updates in case they are next on the list to be culled..
That yoga instructor was doing more harm than good in there.
