Rebellion is More Than Just Another Card Release By Splinterlands

It was funny back in the day before DEC when you would pick Earth and select Flesh Golem as your tank and you would come up against Haunted Spirit and slog it out with both of your heal abilities. There was not that many cards to choose from and I just played it because it was a game on the Steem ecosystem which I was apart of. Then the Beta reward cards were introduced and there were a couple of more ways to win but you could still pretty much know what your opponent was going to put out. Since untamed and Chaos came out the choice of selection is great but we know that there were a few summoners that tipped the balance when it came to the fights with the larger accounts. Rebellion goes a step further and gives you that again but this time with the new rulesets such as ambush and summoners with different abilities, the odds on knowing your opponents team is not very likely. Not very likely at all in fact and on top of that the mechanics of these new summoners that have the user decide how to apply their ability and to whom it is applied really upsets the apple cart as regards forecasting your win. Now this does not really matter in novice bronze and silver but from gold up to Champions, it really is a gamechanger. On top of that there are summoners with dual splinters so you can combine the likes of BREWMASTER ABRAXAS you can pick a team from fire and earth. The combinations are endless and this is what I love about Rebellion.

You can get one of these dual splinter summoners with a 3 mana for 47 cent each which I think is a steal. I am not sure if the Splinterlands world has calculated how valuable these rebellion cards are. I think with Land 1.5 just out , people are scrambling to release resources to buy the likes of Rebellion. It is selling well and there are still millions of packs left to sell but once users start using these summoners , let us say 3 mana , summoners again. They will be a revelation. So much so that I am gonna try and max these guys out first because in time these guys are gonna be expensive I imagine because they can give you so many combinations and are also low mana. I would have thought these summoners would be a higher mana but they are not which is great. The dual ability summoners are a higher mana of 5 and I seem to be using UNDERBOSS FABINO quite a bit with the likes of Grund.

With the untamed banished into wild these cards are not the new kids on the block. Clear off Scarred Llama there is a new kid in town and he looks great as well. AVINA OF THE WOLF is an interesting card as well and the market is already starting to increase with this card but it is still a steal at $3.33.

Take the tokenomics aside and looking at gameplay, the people at Splinterlands did a great job with this one and Chaos as a matter of fact. Chaos Legion cards are magnificent and the most important thing about Chaos and Rebellion is that they are affordable. Most of the OG's are busy putting their Beta and Alpha cards to work on Land but you can get a nice deck for yourself in Splinterlands for cheap enough which was a major barrier for entry. I think the gameplay now is getting there with these new abilities such as ambush and we need to promote the gameplay on Twitter. Many of us talk about the tokenomics but I think it is the gameplay that we now have to market on the likes of X and Tiktok. We have prominent optimistic players on Twitter promoting Splinterlands such as @goldmatters (not sure if he is actually on Hive) and me aul pal @mypathtofire. The crypto community spent millions on ape jpegs. They have the money to invest in actual gameplayable cards.

If you do look at the tokenomics right now it finally seems to be working and Splinterlands is burning SPS to buy DEC to keep up with the people buying credits. This is huge and SPS will hit 4 cent by the end of the year. We need to do more on Hive to embrace Splinterlands. Is there any new Hivians that would like to take it up? I sold all my cards before the bull run hit for $400 . Cards that would be worth a hella lot more now. But I got back in and an old friend penderis helped my back on my Splinterlands feet and I have been buying cards from my Hive rewards ever since. I now compete in gold and I am accumalating to go back to diamond where I was previously. It has been fun and the bear market really helped me with a new deck in Chaos so I have a soft spot for this deck.

Splinterlands have been battling all through this bear market and some of the results that they have come out with are astonishing. The team do their townhall every week and are constantly updating their community. Sure there has been challenges but credit where credit is due with the amazing Land 1.5 update and also the Rebellion release. They deserve some good times now as it is not easy. 2024 will be a good year for the game and with more users playing and bots banished to the wilds I think things are looking extremely positive.
