Splinterlands reveals last week that they were going to go to vote on whether to launch yet another token to provide a sink for DEC once again and the aptly named $PNS token (No not penis token you dirty fiends, Push n Shove. you could not make it up ). PNS (or PENIS for short) token was being voted by the DAO to bring in last week. Splinterland's has long been a fan of launching new tokens to make up for the mistakes and misdemeanors of the token before. First came DEC, then along came SPS, then they needed another so out came Vouchers, then came Dec-B to get rid of some of the supply of DEC and now comes another one called PNS which is a meme token to bring exposure to the game as we know meme coins have taken off. I won't even mention SPT , Grain, Wagons, Potions, credits or the like.
I have always giggled to myself that Splinterlands are following the Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly strategy to keep their heads above the water with past mischiefs or errors. The DEC supply being the biggest ones. We must take a look at the humorous old poem with the old Lady who swallowed a fly. Now normally a lady or gent make at first try and spit the fly back up but if not then you may as well get a glass of water to swallow it down and hope you don't get a nasty bout of the Gandi's revenge. But this old lady addressed matters differently. She had no problem finding and eating whatever was higher on the food chain to eat the fly. In this case the spider. The poem goes on and on until she eats a horse and sadly dies. To Play the Game
