Things are Going Well Over At Splinterlands and No This is Not A Joke

Land 1.5 was announced last week after much anticipation at Splinterlands HQ and beyond. This was the missing piece of the jigsaw and all would be good after this release. Nobody really believed that the play 2 earn game in the bear market would go from a nose dive to slowly steadying the ship to being in control and now to be back flying again but it looks like things are looking up finally. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Once land was released the landowners flocked to get it to start working and by this you needed DEC and lots of it. The demand for DEC increased and this famous DEC to peg started coming into play alot sooner than first imagined. Once DEC went above peg then SPS started getting burnt which is leading to the SPS increase and for the first time in a while it is back over 3 cent which is nice to see. This is also only the beginning as Land 2.0 is only around the corner so for the first time in a couple of years, things are looking up for Splinterlands.
With the release of rebellion and Genesis League ranked play (It is not as bad as I first imagined) things are taking a turn and the ship is going in the right direction. I am confident that Splinterlands will go from strength to strength from here.

So when I look at the amount of SPS burned on a daily basis because DEC is over peg I can see what the developers were talking about really. Everything kicks into action and all of a sudden there is demand for your governance coin. This is great news for the game. Take for example if you take part in brawls and your team comes in the top 3. I received 20 SPS as part of my brawl win last week which means I earned 60 cent for that brawls win the other day. Not too shabby. Now imagine if SPS climbs to 30 cent. That is $5 for the win. This is where we could be going in this great renaissance.

I listened to cyptomancers podcast the other day and like us players , he sounds like a fan of the game himself. The man brought us Chaos Legion which I found pretty great. But the stuff that is coming down the tracks is actually exciting and this looks to be the real beginning of something as opposed to the end. I can sense the turn around here and I am excited by it so I wanna buy up as many cheap cards as possible for the future. I was always a big fan of the game and I am even more now. We don't actually know how good of a game this is on our blockchain. Steem has Football Manager. Hive has Splinterlands. We have to back it because the returns could be great for Hive. This is how we onboard people. Not with writing about leaves on a walk. But the gameplay and the mechanics. The game is excellent. And there is a way in now. The cards ae pretty cheap at the moment so you can get to a decent level with minimum spends plus there is rentals to test them out before you buy.
So if you used to play Splinterland's and sold all your cards well now is the time to get back in because who knows where the next bull run is gonna go. It succeeded first time around so they have history and now they have Land!
