PIZZA Saturday Nights are usually Movie Nights. However, the expansion of PIZZA has resulted in a lot more events being added in, especially over the weekends. Today, other than the usual movie streaming, we've got the all new PIZZA Guild Streams before our Movie Night timeslot! Join me as I take all of you Pizza Fans on a recap of the events today.

As a BIG FAN of 🍕PIZZA🍕, I always suggest joining PIZZA DISCORD if you need a quick pickmeup. 👍 It's a friendly and helpful community with regular EVENTS, AIRDROPS of various crypto tokens, discussions of several GAMES on HIVE (Splinterlands, Rising Star, HashKings, Exode...), MUSIC, and even bits of FINANCE ... well I think you get the idea 😄

🎮🕹️💻PIZZA Guild Streams: Planetside 2🎮🕹️💻

PIZZA has had quite a few impromptu and random gaming streams so far. Today, we've got an official slot for Gaming Streams. (probably for the gradual build up to the Guild scholarship plans too - hence the title being "Guild")

The game highlight today - Planetside 2. A game some of my readers and Pizza members should be quite familiar with by now. And yup, PS2 for Planetside 2 😜, not the ancient Playstation 2 as some of us might have been confused by.

Quite an initial pool of players and spectators, (like I've often said, PIZZA has grown quite a fair bit ever since I joined!) and in no particular order (for those who's HIVE names I'm sure of).

Planetside 2 really is quite perfect as a team bonding game. It's an MMO with faction based teams competing to take over territory based objectives. It definitely ticks all the boxes for PIZZA Guild. 👍

The intial game installation file download is pretty big at 17GB, so future gamers who're interested might consider pre-downloading/installing it first.

The game is definitely getting more attention as more people log onto Pizza Discord. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to join in the fun too, I'm pretty much relegated to being a spectator with my ancient laptop. But that's alright too. The game graphics are great, and it's far more relaxing just watching the pros (and noobs 😜) play.

As the hours went on, we can see that more and more people are joining into the stream or the game itself.

As PIZZA continues expanding and officially launches and announces more plans about the upcoming Guild Scholarships, I'm sure there're come a day I won't be able to cram all the players into one screenshot 😂.

But till then, paging all interested gamers or gaming spectators, do keep a lookout for our weekly Guild Streams.

Every weekend, PIZZA hosts a Movie Night for anyone interested to join in. Makes for a good bonding session or even a random movie to pick up if you're one of those who can't choose from the plethora of choices out there! 🤣

Released in 1984, Beat Street is an American drama dance film featuring New York City hip hop culture of the early 1980s, breakdancing, DJing, and graffiti.

We've got quite a good audience number today. Our PIZZA Movie Theater looks really packed today! We're gaining quite the regular following of movie buffs! (or perhaps everyone just wanted to continue bonding and hanging out after that long gaming stream 😉) 🎬🎥🍿

The Golden Question - How did we end up with this movie? 😅 I don't think anyone would call Beat Street one of the more "popular movies" given it's rather niche genre. I myself had never heard of or watched it before. 😱

Highlight of the movie for me - someone actually chewed on a drink can and mowed through it like nobody's business! 🤯🥫

Further investigation of the movie revealed that this movie had quite a significant cultural impact. It was one of the pioneers introducing hip-hop to the mainstream consciousness, especially in what was then East and West Germany too.

It seems like amongst us at PIZZA, this movie has pretty mixed reviews.
